According to the contractor the project would only take 2-3 days, and he would make me a priority. TJ Contracting then spent 3 months pushing me off, repeatedly telling me next week, or in a couple of days, and coming up with a myriad of excuses. When I asked why the materials had never been delivered even though I paid a fee of $5000+, I was told that's not how they do business, they only order materials last minute. On top of that, TJ Contracting dropped off 5 large bins of garbage shingles from another project and left them on my lawn for the entire summer, directly beside the front porch as a glaring eye-sore. When I finally told them I had enough with the games near the end of August they offered a discount on services, and promised an immediate finish to the job. They then dropped off supplies, never confirmed anything with me, and then ignored, and blocked me via text, leaving me with nothing completed, and having lost 3 months when I could have engaged a proper roofing company. Do not work with TJ Contracting. They are not reliable, they are not communicative, and they are not trustworthy. I wish I could upload screenshots of our texting conversation so that I could show everyone how complacent and inconsiderate these contractors are.

I texted and emailed 20 roofing companies because my roof was left exposed and unfinished by Monty Marsaw from M&M Roofing. Monty did not show on Friday May 3, 2019 to finish the job. When I called Monty on Friday afternoon to ask why he was not working on my roof, he said he could not finish the job because "he felt overwhelmed". It did not seem to bother Monty that he ripped off my shingles, leaving the roof exposed and unfinished. The guy just left the job half done and never showed up again. Like hello, are the lights on or what is up buddy? Talk about being left in a bind. Rain could destroy my entire home! The guy has no morals, no care and zero class. Avoid that guy please. This is a fair and honest warning. Thankfully, Nathan Badour from Undercutters Roofing responded to my email and showed up with a roofer at 9 AM as promised. By the way, Nathan is the only roofer to show up. All the other companies I emailed and texted ignored my call or just did not show. Bear in mind this was and is an emergency call. What does that tell you about the man and the company? What does that say about the no shows? It goes without saying that I hired Nathan with the promise he will send three guys over this afternoon to complete, repair and redo the hack job done by Monty Marsaw. They arrive on the site and know exactly where to go and what to do. And there is not a lot of chitter chatter and no foul language. They are a very professional bunch of guys. All we heard was the sound of industry. Bundles were being nailed efficiently with precision. It was very nice to see our hard earned money put to good use. No regrets at all. Not one of them would provide me with a written estimate and those estimates were from 22K for shingles to 54K for a steel roof. So then I put word out for friends of friends and two more were contacted. One came out and he was knowledgeable and explained a lot of my roof's current problems to me. He said he'd be back in a week with a written quote. Despite a couple of phone calls and texts he never did come back. The second one called and said he'd be by that afternoon and I never heard from him again. Then I saw an article on Facebook for Roof Pros Plus who were looking to expand in the area. I got in touch. They called and we set up a date for an inspection. They arrived when they said they would. Three of them showed up, measured, inspected, came in and sat down with me and we went over what was required, the steel roof they would install, warranties, a price and a written quote. We set a tentative install date for December. I received a call on the 6th and was advised they would start first thing the next morning and it would take 2 days. They showed up bright and early with a full crew. Two days later my new steel roof was installed. My old vents were removed and three new ones installed. They even fixed a portion of my siding that had blown off. The new flashing looked amazing and was a great improvement from the old tin. My yard was cleaned up, we did a walk around and I was totally satisfied with the job they did. When they left you never would have known they were there except for the beautiful new steel roof I now have!

He kept promising certain dates to me every time I got ahold of him.then finally after waiting long enough i told him I wanted my refund back, he said of course the same line as I promise you I will bring it the following Monday. and of course he never came. then two weeks went when soemone b the name of Nick" was at our door in the morning and said he was ready to start work in the POURING RAIN!!! I told him I thought he was bring back to refund, and he said he had no idea we canceled the job, so he said that he seen this before and its not unlikely this always happens and thats why companies go under because of it and said bye! Norm had made us a promise that he would bring back our money and never came back again. Norm had basically stole our money and felt entitled to keep anyways even though we had complained to BBB this is still unresolved. There is no one at their office ever to complain or contact other then their personal cell phones so trying to get anywhere with this companies alomst impossible unless they pick up their phones. I warn potenial future costumers that this company isnt legit to me at all and is willing to run off with your money no matter what!!!
