The pub sits directly across the street from the town's cricket pitch. Pretty darn authentic I say. I sat next to Mr. French and he ordered his usual Lamb Shank, a proper farmer's lunch. The smell of his perfectly braised lamb wafting over from his plate was angelic! I decided on having a roast beef sandwich which was totally satisfying. During our lunch, my crew introduced me to a lovely orange juice with gas water spritzer that refreshed better than a dip into a cold pool. I think I ordered three of those darn things. Thank you Mr. French!
