Every time we stayed in Saco, we went there. I had just finished my wonderful trip in Bar Harbor and we found Renys coming home . It's in Ellsworth and we saw it on the way in. It's a good 30 minutes from Bar Harbor. We wanted to come before but when you are doing Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor, you don't have much time. I am glad I came to see it. It is a big store, clean, and they have a great assortment of shoes, clothes, accessories. Always good prices. I wish I had more time, they were closing in 30 minutes. But I got to look around and remember the good old days of shopping in Renys. When in Maine, you have to come. It's a local store, only found in this state and it's truly fun to shop.

We love Reny's. It's a discount store but it carries Carhardtt, Columbia, Merrill boots, Teva…read moresandals and other name brands. The selection is always good at Reny's. You might be able to get items for cheaper if you follow sales, but when you can't find items at other stores, Reny's usually has it. When you're there, go to the spices and seasonings area and buy the Camp Mix. Camp Mix is a salt/Garlic/pepper seasoning that is great for meats, eggs, pasta and Bloody Mary's. The honey/cinnamon is perfect for oatmeal and toast. The Spud flavor is wonderful on pork and chicken. The staff is always helpful and pleasant.

She also found a nice looking button shirt that would have been a good shirt for me. Price was a little higher than I would have hoped for the shirt but it did seem very high quality. So no real knock on that. A store worth checking out even if you plan to just browse. It's got great coastal vibes which is fitting for where it is.

Clean and organized aesthetic, so it's not overwhelming when you walk in like a lot of consignment shops are. And the racks aren't overflowing and hard to sift through... we love to see it. With over 200 stores overseas and 20 (and growing) on the east coast, I'm sure many others will feel the same way. I've bought a few pieces over the years and their clothing is top notch casual. The folks in this store are super friendly and a strong advocate for the brand. When I visited, it was pretty low key at the end of summer and there was a sale as well. Double plus for my overall experience. Hope they stick around and definitely stay in Camden, ME.

It does carry some t-shirts and trinket type items but most of the inventory is centered around higher quality and practical clothing. The company has been around since 1902 and is perhaps most famous for it's wide selection of warm and quality sweaters. Definitely something people need to survive the winters up here. There are also heaps of shoes and boots, scarves, warm socks, hats, swimwear, sun glasses, watches and of course high quality long underwear. I even saw some life jackets in the store. Definitely a wide variety of different and very useful items. The prices here vary but tend to reflect the higher quality of the merchandise. Jansons isn't a good place to find trinkets and souvenirs but it is a great store to find quality clothing to keep your butt warm during the cold Maine winters.
