One of the best filipino food restaurants. Go to orders would be, sisig and watermelon sinigang. Adobo was great as well. Aesthetically crispy palabok was the bomb, but in terms of taste, not as much though. Stay away from Laing. This branch is a bit small. Hardly can accomodate more than 10 people group. Service is not that good as well, may be becuse of the long wait time.

Excellent service and delicious food! Conveniently located in the Greenbelt 2 across the street from my hotel, the New World. The food was so good, I ate here two nights in a row just to taste more items. A must try when in Makati!

Both tourists and locals will love this place. They add a flare to the classic Filipino dishes to make them interesting and unique! An example is their watermelon sinigang, which still retained the classic sinigang taste but it was slightly sweeter. Another interesting dish they served us was the crispy palabok. The sauce was rich and creamy and the vegetables complimented it very well. It is served dry and the sauce is poured on top for presentation. Their other dishes like sisig, lumpiang sariwa and various kakanins are classics but still tasty. This is a definite stop for those who want to savor Filipino food at its best.

My friend recommended this place and it was actually the first place I ate when I was in Manila. It's a comfort food spot so it has all the Pinoy favorites and it was a good place to start at. Of all the Sisig I had on my trips, this place was the best! It was crispy and super flavorful in a way that others weren't. It's in the classics section of the menu so you know it's a good choice. We also got Sinigang with watermelon and beef short rib. Sinigang is soup, so it's literally a watermelon beef soup. I know it sounds hella weird but it was honestly great. The 3rd dish we got I don't remember the name of, it was honestly a bit forgettable. But it's important to get veggies a bit when you can while there because it seems like all they eat is rice and meat haha. No complaints about it though! I think I would have swapped that for the adobo if I went back. The food comes in 3 sizes which I love, you can try more and not have to order too much of one thing like we do in America. In the US it's large or extra large. But the Asian culture makes it easy to order small amounts and share it all which I think is great. Or if you want sisig all for yourself you can just get a large and max out your cravings too haha. And when you're here get a drink! I got the ube sago. It's kinda like a version of bubble tea but more of a shake consistency. Vibe inside was nice too, looked and felt comfy. Very loud but you'll get used to it. Gets busy so might wait have to wait a small amount of time to get in but it's worth the wait. I think total our food was under 1000php($20usd) 5 stars for great food and great service!

I like the food here. I like that you can have the food in three different size portions. However, the service was almost non-existent. No one asked if we were OK during our meal. After eating my lunch, I asked them to clear my table before I get my dessert. I was half-way through my bibingka before they cleared my table.

I like PI food in the US but here, I'm loving all the food from this restaurant. For 3 of us, we ordered enough for 6ppl and each and every dish was sooo good. My mouth still loves me with all the wonderful flavors from Manam. You can see the beautiful dishes we ordered. Amazing textures, flavorful and delicious. We will be back again during this trip to enjoy some other dishes we did not order.

Comfort Filipino food. The staff are generally friendly. I was fairly impressed with the food especially with the twists that they put into it. We had laing (taro leaves with crispy pork bits and coconut cream), pancit sisig (noodles with bits of crispy little bits of meat usually from a pig's head) and sizzling corned beef cansi (savory beef broth). Wish I had more belly space but then again, I need it for my other gastronomic adventures.

This is a great place for single travelers because they can serve small portions. Highly recommend the fried squid rings, the dee fried pork belly and the adobo kangkong

We stayed at a hotel in Makati so it was really convenient to get to the restaurant. I'm glad there were pedestrian bridges in this car-centric area. It reminds me of the Minneapolis Skyway system. Before we dined at the restaurant we strolled along Greenbelt Park. It was during the weekday. People were at work so it was pretty quiet and relaxing. It was nice to be around nature in this metropolis. I'm sure people who work around this area would come to this park during break. I mean, that's what I would do if I was cooped up in a building all day. We didn't know where Manam was so I walked up to the concierge desk at the mall and asked them. She was helpful and friendly. The host at the restaurant welcomed us and we were brought to a table right away. They tried to put us near the front with a rattling air conditioner. In my head I was like, "Really? How am I supposed to have a decent conversation with my fam with that industrial factory noise?!" I seriously wasn't trying to have a janky restaurant experience. Of course I had to mind my manners because I'm just a visitor from a different country. I wasn't about to start something and get myself in trouble. So I kept those inner thoughts to myself, smiled, and politely asked the host to move us further towards the back. They were able to accommodate us. Our server was friendly. The food was good. A couple of customers next to us ordered the Crispy Pancit Palabok tableside service. They enjoyed the entertainment. We had a smorgasbord of items. The restaurant was advertising their Sinigang na Beef Short Rib & Watermelon so we ordered that. The watermelon flavor was subtle. When we got the bill I was ecstatic. I couldn't believe how affordable brunch was. For food and drinks it was under $25. At home it would have been $50-$60 with tip. Honestly, I'm so glad I got to eat at popular Filipino restaurants like Manam during my Philippines vacation. The closest thing we have to popular Filipino restaurant chains back home is Jollibee and Chowking (obviously fast food restaurants). It was nice to eat Filipino comfort food at a modern restaurant on this trip.

After wandering around for half an hour, we ended up in front of the restaurant. What intrigued us about the place was how empty it was, though it was already past five PM and there was major traffic of people in the mall. The site I supposed reminded us that it was dinner time already, so we mulled over whether to give the place a try. My sis quickly decided against it because she assumed an empty restaurant must mean bad food. However, I was craving for real Filipino food at that moment (and I was paying), so we ended up inside the restaurant after quickly glancing at the menu. The place was so empty that even the host was out of sight. After a minute or so, the host appeared and we were seated promptly needless to say. We even had a pick of any table! We ended up ordering the bagnet that came with the sour broth on the side, beef adobo, laing, and garlic fried rice with dilis. And as it turned out, we really enjoyed the food! My sister and my mom raved about the bagnet. I liked everything. In conclusion, the place was a hit. Before our staycation ends this Saturday, I would like to back and try out the other dishes.

My own stomach deserved better. Solid late-night spot. Generous portions, comforting flavors, and a vibe that feels like a warm hug after a long day (or a long night out, depende sa choices mo). Alfresco dining is super chill, but be warned: it starts getting packed around 1-2AM with people who look like they've survived a full pub crawl. What we ordered: * Pork Bagnetsilog - Crispy, well-seasoned, and surprisingly generous. * Talong Chips + Tokwa - My ultimate fave. I kept "trying one more" until suddenly... nothing was left. Zero self-control, and honestly? Worth it. * Chicharon Bulaklak + Tokwa - Dangerously crunchy. Perfect with rice or on its own. * Coffee Nagaraya Sorbetes - Fun idea, but the coffee flavor needs a little more oomph. Still worth a try. * Leche Flan Sorbetes - A sinful dulce de leche situation -- sweet tooth approved. Only downside: Parking took 30 mins to 1 hour. Will we be back? Absolutely. Probably sooner than parking trauma can heal. Another late night go-to unlocked.
