There's one 18-hole course, and it's around $10 per person. The best part is that you can stay and play as many times as you want, so you can get your money's worth if you're up for multiple rounds. Or, more realistically, you can play again to try to redeem yourself after that embarrassing 6 on the 4th hole! The course was well maintained, fun, and just challenging enough to keep things interesting. There's quite a bit of water, and it's surprisingly easy to find yourself fishing your ball out of a pond. Fortunately, the balls float, and there are strategically placed nets in the spots where you're most likely to need them, which is a nice touch. You'll also find the usual obstacles like rocks and "sand traps." Although, calling them sand traps is being pretty generous--they're more like rock traps. I would have liked to see a little more theming throughout the course and some different types of hazards. Once you've conquered the water and rocks, there isn't a whole lot of variety. They also have an indoor, air-conditioned snack bar serving Nelson's ice cream, which is a pretty great way to cool off after a round--or recover emotionally from the hole that just ruined your score. Overall, it's a nice, well-kept mini golf course with reasonable pricing, unlimited play, and a few good challenges. It may not have the elaborate themes or crazy obstacles of some of the bigger courses, but it's a fun place to spend some time and definitely worth checking out.

Each child was $7.50, and I didn't have to pay. There's also a local discount, which was a nice bonus if your local (Central PA) . The best part is that your kids get wristbands for all-day access, so you can leave and come back later. The wristbands were convenient, but not every kid loves wearing them. One of mine tried to pull theirs off, so that's something to keep in mind. The entire village is set on turf, which made it feel clean and easy for kids to run around. There are around 10 little houses, all filled with fun, imaginative play setups. Things do get a little mixed around from kid to kid, but it didn't take away from the experience at all. There isn't much shade, and on a hot day it definitely makes a difference. We stayed for about an hour, from around 11 to 12, and that heat was the main reason we left. Food and drinks aren't allowed inside the village for kids, but parents can walk around with coffee, which is a plus. There is a food and drink stand on-site if you want to grab something. The setup overall is super convenient. Bathrooms are right there, and you pay at the main mini golf area when you arrive. There are also extra outdoor games included, like giant checkers and tic-tac-toe, which added even more value without extra cost. Parking is easy with angled spots, and when we went it wasn't crowded at all. The location is also perfect if you're already exploring nearby spots like Choo Choo Barn, Strasburg Rail Road, or Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Everything is within about 10 minutes. There were a few bees and wasps around, which is expected for an outdoor space. It wasn't overwhelming, and it didn't interfere with play. This would be a great spot for playdates or casual meetups. The price is hard to beat, and it's an easy, fun outing for younger kids. I'd definitely go back, just aiming for a cooler day next time.

I have been to their mini-golf once or twice. It is certainly a good date spot for young and old. I appreciate how they have covered and uncovered driving ranges with cheap buckets-o-balls. I cannot comment on their batting cages other than to say they have them. So seriously, back to the ice cream. You can get what you like in cup or cone. Or, hear me out, you go to the shop (attached to the ice cream joint) and get a bucket (err gallon) and bring it home to enjoy for slightly longer. They have standard and more unique options. That is the only way to end a day at Freddie Hill Farm. NOTE: Freddy Hill Farm will be closing at the end of the summer at some point I happen to see a news article go out from a local paper and also on social media. They have four courses to play from. You don't get to choose. They assign you based on the availability. I'm not sure if unlimited means you can play all four courses without repeat and if you can play more than four times (conceptually). They offer half off a second course when you're booking one. You get that offer when paying at the kiosk on the spot, but my friend got a similar deal afterwards via email. Unfortunately, the deal was gone either after she clicked into it or the day after (confusing terms). We actually considered going the next day to play again (full price) but turns out the place was closed for a private event. Imagine we paid online to show up seeing that they aren't available...lame. We were assigned to play in the amber course. Each course is named after a color. They're similar but slightly different, but I won't feel like I'm missing out by not playing all four. It took us approximately 30min to get through the course considering slight delays waiting for the group ahead to finish and technical issues with the courses. I can imagine it taking longer on a weekend and earlier in the evening for corporate happy hours. Most groups were only 2 people. Puttshack is unique where their ball is "smart". Each ball is assigned to a player, and it can keep track of how many times you hit it. It's great for ease of scorekeeping. The courses themselves felt a bit easy. I'm not saying I got everything in hole in one, but I never felt frustrated completing any of them. I don't get the ball in due to my skill of getting it in the hole not because of the complexity of the course. They try to incorporate things like trivia and moving parts in there, but it's never a situation where they won't let you through until you complete something. You'll get through eventually somehow.

This is genuinely one of the most unique family fun centers we've been to. They've got food on-site too, so you really don't need to leave. If you're in the Oaks, PA area and haven't checked this place out, you need to. Even if you're not local, it's about an hour and a half drive from us and it was absolutely worth it. They also have a cool package that combines the fun center, their movie theater, and the American Treasure Tour Museum, which is a really unique experience on its own. Milkshakes and other sweet treats were available. There was only one young staffer that I saw but very friendly and helpful. I was able to get a first responder discount which made our mini-golf games almost buy one get one. It was about $14 total. The 18-hole course was not too easy or hard and had some unseen dips on the well maintained astroturf. They also thankfully have appropriately placed netting to avoid some shots landing in the water. For about four or five holes, they have fun spinners which have you do a trick shot or choose someone to move a ball or hop on a foot to take your shot or use the opposite end of the club for the shot. Made for some laughs on the course. No prizes for a hole in one on 18. They also have a batting cage. Although relatively empty when we were there in the afternoon on a Saturday, others were slowly coming in. This is a nice place for a fun family or friend night out. We chose the blue course, and it had lots of cool, challenging obstacles, including sand and rock traps, and water traps too! It was late summer, so the leaves were beginning to fall, but they must use a leaf blower often because the greens only had a few tiny leaves here and there which didn't interfere at all. We had no problem getting our disabled daughter through the course in her large jogger stroller. There was a lot of mature shade trees, and even colored, shade banners strategically placed offering even more shade. The balls float, and they have special tools placed near each water trap to retrieve the balls. They have ice cream and more tables nearby which we thoroughly enjoyed afterwards.
