I just went here for the first time and we absolutely loved it! The facilities are older but that's the best part, feels like you're stepping back in time. They have all ages skating on Fridays and Sundays, it's really cool to see little kids all the way up to older adults. In the future we'll be going to the 18+ Saturday night skate, I'm sure it'll be a little less crazy without all the kids. Overall loved it and I'm so happy to have found this place. read more

This place needs a major make over or just a good scrub. It is very old & dingy inside. I have been to two kid's birthday parties, including my son's in May 08. It's a great place to have a party because it is cheap and the kids can run amok! Cost $50 deposit. $150 for rental, $1.50 per kid (optional) includes pizza or hot dog and beverage. I think skate rental is $1. - Don't quote me on that-I'd call for prices. Pheasant Run's prices in Oley is comparable, but it is a little nicer inside. Ringing rocks also has a small rink for the little ones (but you have to go up and down steps?!?) It is a fun place and I'd go again. read more

Loads of fun for the kids and reasonably priced but i grew up skating at this place and since i can remember, nothing at all has changed. The place is very dirty, the skates have loose bolts, holes, some rips and years in them and i just frankly feel as though the place is a little unsafe and unsanitary as well. It could be a nice establishment for people to enjoy young and old if they would just revamp the place and get new skates. read more

Ringing Rocks Skate Rink has always been a nice, economical, way to spend a couple hours with friends and family!! :) Not much has changed from when I was a kid. With that is pro's and con's, naturally. Pro: still great prices! still has a "retro old time family skate feel", great place to spend $20 and burn off the kids energy! :) Negative: the owners could really stand to do some general upkeep, remodeling for safety reasons and hygiene. The bathrooms really leave something to be desired and should be renovated. Bleachers have started to be replaced the last time I was there though (and needed it). Some paint would go far in that place but do not cover the murals that are the history of ringing rocks please! Biggest suggestions are NEW SKATES a lot of the skates are messed up, wheels don't spin too well, broken laces and eyelets and ARE they sprayed with a disinfectant (sp?) of any kind after people use? I've never seen any but .... Someone NEEDS TO however start reprimanding and removing the ones who are starting trouble. It's not safe, scares kids and is a legitimate safety concern for all skating! Course people remember with remodeling and new stuff expect the prices to change THAT'S gonna be the downside. *But a GREAT TIME to be had by the whole family and we LOVE Ringing Rocks Skate Rink !!* read more

Until we got invited to a birthday party here, I never realized we had a roller rink in the area (or that they even existed at all anymore for that matter)! Since this was a birthday party, we had the whole place to ourselves for 2.5 hours. It's an old building and not much to look at, but a fun time was had by all! Can't really comment on the music as a playlist was provided by the host and they simply played that. Prices were very reasonable both for skating, skate rentals, and the food. Minor complaints were that the building didn't seem to have AC so it got a little warm in there and when we returned our skates, they seemed to have simply put them away without even spraying anything inside of them first. But overall, a fun place to hang out and skate. read more

This was our first time at the rink- I loved the old school vibes, the music, and the lighting, but the rest of the experience we had here tonight was absolutely horrible. We went to the skate rental to ask if we could trade one of the girl's skates in for a different pair just as the woman running it was sent off to the concession room only to be replaced by a bunch of rude KIDS under the age of 10. Instead of switching the skates like we asked and they said they could do, they tried giving us the wrong kids shoes and then gave us our kids shoes instead of the skates before saying 'YOU'RE WELCOME' in a snide tone. When we repeated that we were trying to switch the skates for different ones- the little girl rolled her eyes, threw up her hands just and walked away. When we tried to leave a few minutes later, a bunch kids kept pushing past us to get in and out of the skate rental- one of them rolled over my five year old daughter's toes (which are now bruised) while I was trying to get her skates off and another shoved my friend down to get past her. I had to track down the ADULT woman who had been working behind the skate rental so that we, and the long line of people who were trying to get their things, could finally get our shoes and leave. I didn't catch her name (lovely young woman with the long straight pony tail), but she very sweet and apologized for the kid's behavior. As we were walking out, the little boy that was behind the counter followed us all the way to the door obnoxiously yelling, "YOU'RE WELCOME" and "GOODBYE" over and over at us until the door closed. read more

I recently had a birthday party 9/30/17 at Ringing Rocks for my daughter. The staff assigned that day to handle my event went above and beyond to make everything right for my daughters special day. Very pleased with everything the two ladies did, as a parent I couldn't be happier. read more

This place is so cool!! Very old fashioned! Ancient murals on the walls that must date back to the 1940's or 50's. Great to see this place has survived all these years intact. I hope they don't change a thing. read more

Ringing rocks is awesome! My favorite thing is that it hasn't changed for years! You can also skate up to get food and drinks! Anyone who complains about the looks must be to high class, because nothing beats the prices and old school look! read more

Worse customer service ever. Invited 20 plus members of my family to open skate to celebrate my daughters 10th birthday along with some of her classmates. We were talked to very rudely from the moment we got to the front window. We decided to stay and let the children have fun, which they did up until 20 minutes before closing time when we decided to sing Happy Birthday to my daughter and enjoy some cupcakes. I had called over a month ago to see if this was allowed and was told yes as long as it was as we were leaving. There was only one group of 3 in the building along with our party and they were invited to join us. We were screamed at and berated in front of the children. Not very good business practice nor will ANY of my family members being coming back. read more

It's a real shame because skating is such a fun activity to do with the family, I will have to say the place is so run down. It looks like a abandoned place . I was grossed out to even put the skates on. You can tell the skates are so old the shoe laces were falling apart.i don't know how this place stays open it looks like a dump. I was there for a birthday party and the staff charged 5 dollars for a pitcher of faucet water , I was so shocked no place I've ever been to charges for water unless it's in a bottle. I'm surprised that they would charge someone for a water when they spend so much money on having the birthday party at there venue that clearly isn't presentable. I can now see why the place is going down hill. It's so dirty. The girl that worked behind the counter handing out the skate rentals to the kids looked like she was ready to go clubbing she was literally wearing a crop top with her boobs pretty much flopping out of the top belly hanging out over the jeans ! I grew up having the time of my life at this skating rink. It is amazing how things haven't changed.....with the building. Today brought back a lot of childhood memories, but there will sadly be no more memories for our family. My family will NOT return to ringing rocks skating rink again. The disrespectful staff tonight ruined our experience!! From the moment we arrived to the very second we left, the experience was awful! From curse words in the music (for a bunch of children and families skating), to the workers stealing candy and money from the snack bar, to workers dancing on the wooden shelf areas....this place was a hot mess. The night was topped off by one of the young workers (with pink hair) being downright nasty and rude to over 20 people (kids included since it was a little girls birthday). Way to ruin something so special!! Without our business tonight, the rink would have been very quiet. You're welcome for bringing you business! During there open skate hours (Friday & Saturday), there are a ton of kids their who's parents drop them off and then the kids have a free for all. There are NO skate guards on the floor and the kids are playing tag and skating in the wrong direction all night. I tried this place out and two of my kids got run into by kids playing tag and were hurt. I figured I'd give it another chance and went back a month later and a few kids went up to my 12 year old son and told him they wanted to fight "just because". About 10 minutes later my daughter was slammed into by someone going the wrong way and the kids just laughed about it. This is a horrible place to bring your family. If you're trying to train your children to become thugs then you should drop them off here every week for a few months and you're wish will come true. read more

This place is straight out of my childhood (I'm 41 now). The skates are probably 30 years old. And the decor. And the prices. It was perfect on a Sunday afternoon with my kids. I can't recommend it highly enough, assuming you can appreciate a place frozen in time. read more

We had birthday parties at Ringing Rocks over the past couple years, this past year was the worst. The place is going down hill: The floors need to be redone, the skates are HORRIBLE (holes, bolts poking through, wheels bent, etc.), the bathroom is nasty, not to mention a quick paint job would do wonders just to improve the '1st impression'. One employee (Megan) was miserable. We just wanted a decent gathering for our child's birthday. We asked for several different pairs of skates because of their condition-we got attitude. We asked for certain music to be played before the party started; 20 min's before it ended we had to ask again & finally a CD of our choice was played (of course attitude was given again) Unfortunately we didn't get the name of the other (female) employee working that day because she was very pleasant and very helpful. Most likely we won't be paying another $150 for that type of service / atmosphere again. read more
