I'm an electronic music fan, and so looking at "wedding DJs" was an awful experience, and after hearing someone at another wedding where their transitions sucked, I wanted to avoid someone who musically had no idea what they were doing at all costs, and avoid some of the cheesier talents that seemed to pollute the internet. We were going to have at least 4 DJs at the wedding so I knew we needed someone competent. My photographer recommended Dj Mancat, and he was a godsend. Super professional and in charge, I was texting him the week before with updates and changing my mind about songs, and he was on the ball in humoring a bride stressing out about all her choices. During the event, he worked seamlessly with our coordinator and kept us on time, was courteous, and let's talk about music quality.... Our guests raved about the music choice (which was all over because the groom likes classic rock and I like electronic music), and he could not have done a better job. Excellent transitions, no trainwrecks, friendly on the mic without being over the top, and he kept the dance floor going all night. He definitely provided one of our wedding highlights. He spent the time to get to know is over zoom calls, learned our musical preferences and was super hands on, personable, organized and helpful. DJ Mancat has been a big part of our story. My fiance and I met and forged our relationship during bar trivia that Mancat hosted/emceed. We were fortunate to have him come out to DJ our wedding.
