We had Extreme DJ as our wedding DJ in March 2026. Jesse Camano was AMAZING, choosing him as our DJ was the best decision we ever made! We contacted Extreme DJ about a year prior to our wedding. We talked to Alex who was incredibly responsive and helpful. He walked us through the packages and the process upfront. One reason we picked them was their broad selection of DJs, the way they let us actually select who to match with, and the fact that they were ok with explicit songs at our request, when other DJ groups were not. We told Alex what we were looking for (type of music vibe, bilingual DJs, etc) and he gave us a few DJs to look into. They all had mix samples which led us to picking Jesse. Jesse met with us a few times prior to our wedding and made sure we had all details settled. When we weren't super sure about things, he gave us playlists and other recommendations to help us decide. He was incredibly patient with us especially as we were indecisive about a few things and changed things along the way. On the day of, it was honestly the best experience we could've ever asked for. We had an amazing experience with Extreme DJ, especially DJ Eric, at our wedding at Ebell of Los Angeles in August 2025. I truly cannot say enough good things about him. tl;dr- If you're reading this while researching DJs for your upcoming wedding, I promise this is all you need. 10/10, A++, would (highly) recommend. Full stop. Excess Details- The DJ is the primary driver of the atmosphere and flow of the wedding so--imo--it's one of the most important roles in a wedding. I spent weeks doing research & vetting different vendors for this reason, and ultimately landed w/ Alex (Espinosa) at Extreme DJ. In the months leading up to the wedding, Alex eased fears in various areas, asked critical questions we hadn't thought of, and assured he would take care of blind spots. He did. He offered several small ideas/tricks that ended up changing how the entire reception felt (tricks withheld here out of respect for his service). Huge difference. We even had "custom" requests that required extra coordination from him- executed perfectly. He showed up early on the day of and got our officiant all set up. Zero audio failures. Zero missed/cringey transitions during the ceremony. He was clear in directing guests, relaying upcoming events, and announcing people. He steered the proverbial ship through every event flawlessly- all without ever stealing the show (like I've seen many DJs do before). To top it off, the dancing part was arguably his specialty. Give him a Spotify playlist and let him make the call on what gets played when. I thought about putting them in an order we wanted but ran out of time. Glad I did. Extreme DJ seemed like a great DJ service for our wedding. They were recommended by a caterer that is a good friend. The problem is that I don't like being "nickled & dimed". After sending in a full payment check by mail, I received an email asking where my payment was... I responded that I apologized that the check had been sent 12 days earlier... after that the owner Eric wrote to tell me that the check had been received but he tore it up, and he requested that I pay by Venmo or Square and pay a 3% fee. (He actually sent a photo of my torn-up check!) I called up my designated DJ and cancelled! I had followed all of their payment requests but I think he wanted to make an additional fee - which is ridiculous and very unprofessional in my opinion. Be aware! read more

We didn't decide to have a DJ until maybe 2 months ahead of the wedding. We had a small wedding with less than 40 guests and we thought we could get away with playing a playlist on a computer, but it ended up being too much work and stress trying to figure out all the equipment and setup, etc. during the last several months of the wedding planning. Frankly speaking, we found ExtremeDJ because of their relatively affordable pricing. After interviewing a few DJs within a similar price range, we felt like we connected with Alex, from ExtremeDJ, the best. Unfortunately, Alex himself wasn't available for our date but he recommended a few DJs in the company and in the end, we got to work with Ray. The whole process was quite effortless. Alex and Ray were very responsive. We didn't get to meet Ray in person beforehand, but our calls were very efficient. We created a Spotify playlist to let him know what kind of music we like for the reception, cocktail hour and dancing time. We gave him a list of songs we want to play as the processional and recessional. And Ray took care of the rest. We really didn't expect much. We thought it will be very chill, and people probably would rather just hang out and talk. We even told Ray not to try too hard to encourage people to dance if they were not in the mood. But they were! It was a small wedding but the dance floor was packed! The music was really good and the transition very smooth. My family from China, who had never seen wedding celebrations like this, were very impressed. Our guests had a very good time! To make the small wedding more intimate and personal, we had a good friend of mine do most of the MCee-ing, while Ray did some announcements for us. He worked very seamlessly with my friend. We initially spoke with Eric who matched us with DJ Envision who's name is also Erick. Everyone is so nice and easy to talk to. Erick Figueroa was amazing. He took so much stress away from us because he already knew the flow of the Hacienda. When we didn't know what song to play for certain moments he had playlist ready for us to choose from which was so helpful. When talking to him on the phone, he is super friendly easy to talk to. On wedding day we took to long greeting tables so last minute we cut out the money dance and garter toss because we wanted to dance and enjoy the night.
