We had Jason with Injoy Entertainment for our wedding in 2022 and absolutely loved him. We had originally planned to only have him cover the DJ for the wedding but ended up expanding to include the photobooth and some lighting requirements as well. We loved how we were able to use his website to select specific songs for each of the different aspects of our big day (ceremony, reception, dinner, dancing before 10pm, dancing after 10pm, etc) - the website was wonderful and if the song wasn't there, Jason had us provide a link and figured out a way to make it so we didn't have to adjust our song or stress about figuring it out. He also worked with my dad to add some special touches to the father of the bride speech. Aside from DJing, he also helped facilitate the photobooth, which was a great touch. With more than a dozen years of professional DJ experience performing in a wide variety of high profile settings, I had no doubts about his ability to provide top notch service on the big day. We touched base early on to go over the basics - venue choice, rough timeline and list of activities, etc. He was on point when it came to checking in with me about the wedding schedule and key song selections about a month before the wedding. His user-friendly portal allowed me to identify all of my must-have tunes in addition to those I did not want played. We spoke roughly one week before the big day to ensure all of my music selections were captured. When we started the search for a DJ for our wedding, my now wife and I had fairly specific requirements, like most couples do. I had been a musician - more like a hack - in the past, and she is a classically trained opera and jazz singer. So, music was paramount to the experience we were hoping to create for our big day. I can not speak more highly about DJ Steve, as from the moment of our first consultation to game day preparation and execution was full of professionalism, but with importance of creating a musical experience that was personal and catered to the evening. Jason and Chad were exactly what we were looking for for our wedding celebration! My hubby and I are definitely particular when it comes to music, and we had a vision for our wedding reception that included a LOT of great music and rump shakin'. We knew the djs would make or break our wedding experience. We set out looking for someone who could really deliver on our goal of recreating the feeling of a great night out, not super clubby, but definitely reflecting our tastes (old school and new hip-hop, slow jams, awesome remixes and mash ups) so everyone would get out of their seats. Most importantly, we LOVE to dance, and we wanted to really have music played that we could move to. We even had a mid-reception wardrobe change planned, ditching our wedding clothes and jumping into head to toe white outfits we could get down in (white Armani Exchange jackets, white t-shirts with our last name initial in black, white jeans and matching white Nike Cortezes!). So as you can imaging, finding djs that understood not just us and our tastes, but the vibe we were going for, was key. Jason and Chad...they got us. They did a wonderful job of taking our input and instruction regarding the genres of music, and even specific songs we wanted to hear, and wove them all together seamlessly! The started with us at our wedding ceremony at the Japanese Friendship Garden, doing a perfect job setting the mood and leading the wedding party in/out. Then they proceeded to kick off the cocktail hour at the Prado, in the Loggia Room/Terraces, keeping the guests mingling and chatting. Dinner was great, too...I realized I was bouncing in my seat thinking, "Wow, that's a great song!" before it clicked that...I'd told them I loved that song! Dinner included slow jams and downtempo tunes, ranging from Fugees to Faith Evans to classic Motown. They really helped us with our special dances, doing a great job of playing just enough of the song for the 1st dance / father daughter dance / mother son dance to be memorable and intimate, but not uncomfortably long. After that, there was about a half hour of open dancing before we cut the cake then ducked out to change our gear. We missed that 15 minutes or so, but what we've seen of pics, the whole reception was up and moving! When the started the tune for our second 're-introduction', they did a great job of clearing the dance floor and letting the excitement build with the beat, then announced us again and we bounded in dancing up a storm! One of the best moments of our wedding reception was when we sat down to dinner and the sun was setting behind the San Jacinto Mountains leaving a beautiful evening sky that was this kind of fading ombre of gorgeous blue colors. All this as we sat with all our loved ones on a beautifully landscaped outdoor lawn, garden lights twinkling above us. Steve played "Dawn" by Cloud Cult, my favorite band. It has crickets playing in the background, like the kind I used to hear on hot summer nights growing up in the South. It was one of those rare moments when the perfect song played at the perfect time and it was SUCH an amazing, peaceful and happy moment. I'll never, ever be able to forget it. We all know taking advice from such consistently high-rated Yelp businesses can sometimes be inaccurate, but this is one of the most accurate business ratings on Yelp out there. Their customer service was exceptional and they were one of our best vendors even though we booked them for a wedding in Palm Springs. I hired these guys for our Wedding reception this past June. The guys that work for this company are TRUE professionals. The first meeting was very cool since they can video conference. Our reception venue was at Twin Oaks Garden Estate. They had told us that we had to use only their contracted DJ's. I was nervous at first because I was researching the Twin Oaks DJ list, & not to be stereotypical, most of the DJ's seemed like they were old or didn't even know how to actually mix. Let's be honest, if the DJ sucks at a wedding, nobody will dance & thats all that people will remember. (I actually attended a wedding where that happened). I'm so glad I went with Injoy Entertainment. These guys have their stuff on point! DAY OF WEDDING: Our DJ was Steve. He did a great job! First off he contacted me the week of the wedding to go thru the final run down of the timeline. He was able to play specific songs I had requested which included (Hawaiian Island/reggae, 90's & line/group dance music.) I specifically requested not to play EDM(I hate EDM!) which he followed. Steve kept everyone on the dance floor! Working with Steve was a great experience. Many of my guests were very impressed that he pronounced the bridal party's names correctly. We needed a DJ at the last minute to do just the ceremony music for our wedding. DJs typically charge a minimum of four hours and only do the entire event. We weren't initially looking for a DJ because it was a morning ceremony and we knew no one would really dance (turns out that was the case!). We had my MacBook Pro set up to play a playlist. Damn, don't really know where to start with Jason. 1) Passion- I feel like Jason actually cared about our wedding. The week before the wedding, Jason had an hour long conversation with us about what kind of music we want...he even played us clips of the music so that he was sure that he was playing the correct song. He even gave us suggestions in regards to the timing of the music. Jason took the time to learn all of our names...and he nailed my last name...which is basically impossible to pronounce. 2) Flexibility- So the thing we were most worried about in regards to the wedding was that my arab family wanted arabic music to play for a portion of the reception. Jason was more than willing to integrate the arabic music AND he even mixed some of the songs together...wtf...he doesn't even speak arabic...pretty damn amazing. 3) Professionalism- Everything about Injoy and Jason is 100% professionalism. The site and the UI to pick your songs are super easy to use. Jason and all of his staff were dressed appropriately for the occasion..and all my guests commented on how nice the staff at flipbook photo booth were. 4) Excellent music selection- If there's a song you want, they'll get it. Easy as that. Sound quality was great. 5) Fun- Jason added another level of energy to the mix. He doesn't jus sit there on iTunes and click play on a song. He gets everyone energized. 6) Patient- Ok...so it was totally my job to pick the DJ and coordinate for the wedding...and I replied to emails super late..and sometimes not at all...basically i was the worst client ever...but Jason was persistent and made sure to check up on how things were going. Jason was a very good DJ. When picking a DJ, you have to take the leap of faith they all will play good music. So we trusted his judgement of song choices and didn't really focus on that during the DJ selection process of our wedding planning. What we liked most about Jason was his communication and logistical planning prior to the wedding. He had a good web portal that kept track of all our emails and payment history. His website portal also had sections to fill out our timeline, wedding info (Bridal party, parents) and song lists. It was relieving to know we could fill this info out on our own time, and then completely trust Jason would know what songs to play, when to play them and not have any questions on the flow of the evening. His pricing was comparable to other DJ's but he was a preferred vendor at our venue, the Estancia La Jolla. We liked that he was familiar with the venue and didn't need any instruction. He followed our timeline well, played good music, and we have no negative complaints. We would recommend him to anyone, especially anyone at the Estancia. read more

We met him in person and we just really liked his mellow but super friendly personality. We met with a few other djs and found most to be obnoxious. Kingsley did an amazing job at our wedding. My husband and I hired Chad from Injoy Entertainment to DJ our wedding last August. We wanted a DJ who was professional, experienced, chill, fun, non-cheesy, and who could provide quality dance lighting. Chad was definitely all of those things. From the very start, he and his business partner Jason were very professional. They made me feel comfortable with the whole process. I am extremely detail oriented, so I had tons of questions, and they were very responsive and happy to answer all of my many questions. They were up front about pricing, and were happy to make sure we had everything we needed for wedding day - like playing music at our separate ceremony location, providing battery operated speakers required for the ceremony venue, a little extra setup time, an extra lapel microphone for our officiant, etc. My husband and I knew that our DJ was extremely important for setting the vibe, and to act as MC of our wedding. We provided Chad with a long list of songs that we wanted played at different times throughout the night. He did a great job of playing our songs, and throwing in other songs based on what he knew of our music preferences. We were worried about meeting a DJ that was cheesy, but Jason and Chad were both genuinely interested in our needs. Jason did our wedding...Our DJ he was incredible. He made our wedding a night to remember!! All of our guests loved him! Kept the entire dance floor full and played everything we wanted. Another positive is that he was very accommodating during the whole process. He was very attentive to what we needed and wanted. We booked him about 6 months before our wedding day, but he kept in touch through out the whole process of planning (He wasn't one of those vendors who disappears until the wedding). Thank you to DJ Paul from Injoy Entertainment!! We had such a great time at our wedding. Injoy was extremely professional from start to finish and they made it so easy to plan the music throughout the big day. I was being super picky about the ceremony music and had really SPECIFIC and different songs... and Paul followed through with each and every song and it was perfect! I gave Paul free range to pick our cocktail hour and reception music and he picked the perfect mix of songs based on our preferences and style. We paid extra for a photobooth which our guests LOVED! The pictures came out with amazing quality and there were so many different and funny props to add to the silliness of our poses. We also had a fog machine that brought a new dimension to our dance floor... you could literally disappear into the fog and it was so much fun! We added back-lighting for our reception site that completely transformed the room to an amazing and beautiful space. This company is the entire package!! You will not be disappointed. I found Injoy Entertainment on Yelp through great reviews and I was glad we did. The only reason I cannot give the full 5 stars is because we had originally met and hired Chad as the DJ for our wedding almost a year before the actual day, and about 1 month before we were switched to a different DJ because Chad and his partner had an opportunity arise abroad. Needless to say I was a little nervous when I heard this news because I hired Injoy because I loved the vibe I got from Chad! BUT... with that being said... we did have a wonderful experience with Steve (our new DJ who I got to meet before the wedding day). He understood what kind of atmosphere we wanted for both the ceremony and reception, and helped give some great suggestions for songs where I was lacking ideas. (Father/daughter, last song, cake cutting). The cake cutting ended up being one of the most memorable parts of the night for me, and Steve's awesome song choice was definitely a part of that! (Sweet Caroline). It was fun and upbeat and very out of the ordinary from most songs played during that moment. He did a great job keeping the crowd dancing, and I would recommend him again for sure. read more

I love the fact that Jason and Chad are down-to-earth-real people. They do not wink at me when talking, like we have an inside joke. I also liked their approach at the bridal show, not to shove papers in my face, but to actually talk to me and see what I want for my wedding -- a breath of fresh air at bridal shows. I felt like they listened to me and really want to make my wedding day special. They definitely give you special, hands on attention and detail the music to fit your style. Chad was the DJ for my wedding a few weeks ago. He was incredible. When booking with Injoy, it felt more like I was booking a DJ for a party rather than a "wedding DJ." Chad played great music all night long and his announcements were professional and subtle. There was absolutely zero cheesiness, which was just what I wanted. Everyone had a great time and loved the music. About an hour before the ceremony, I realized I had never finalized my choice for the processional song. We had talked about it, but I never made the final decision. I simply told Chad what kind of song I wanted and he played something that was perfect.
