Now... some of the people I've run into here, including Wheaton Police officers.... that's a different story. I have had bad interactions with police, homeless and the typical uppity Wheaton-ite here. I'm not sure if people come here and figure since it's a convenient store they can act like turds, or they are turds in general. The store has a descent amount of stuff here and for what I typically get, they hardly ever ran out of it. I will miss the old owners, the new Staff seems nice (Naomi is running the store now) and hopefully they continue to stay that way.

There were at least 5 people waiting in line after me and the ONLY person checking people out, had to go talk to the pharmacist about another problem I had with them not filling a prescription that I received a text saying it was ready, and she neglected to have any of the other 4 people working in the pharmacy fill in for her while she spent at least 15 minutes sorting out my problem. Finally, after she got my prescription filled, someone came to ring people up. And there was someone in the pharmacy who appeared to be from corporate with who I assumed was the store manager, both completely clueless to what was going on. The woman helping me never said a word to him about the issues going on at the moment. Nor was there any demarcation on the floor to show people to stand back 6 feet and no hand sanitizer. Seriously, look at how many people come to the register! And the cashier has to handle dirty money as well. Care for the cashiers! Even Jewel put up plexiglass, but they didn't make it long enough to go over the card machine.

This is one of the worst Walgreens pharmacies we've experienced. Time and time again, we are told…read moreprescriptions are ready via the app or by phone and when we arrive to pick them up, they're not ready. And we wait. Most recently, we had the prescription sent to this Walgreens pharmacy first thing in the morning and we're told it would be ready in the afternoon. Afternoon comes and it is not ready. We're then told it will be ready by the end of the day. End of the day comes (9:00pm-ish) and it is not ready. I then call the next morning and the pharmacist says something is up with their system and that he'll knock out the prescription (eye drops) himself and it will be ready in 5 minutes. Arrive at the pharmacy 30 minutes later and it's not ready. It's almost comical at this point how terrible this location is. Embarrassing.
