Take Note - It has changed ownership. We stopped in this week for two grinders, to eat in. First, I was told, they only have white bread available. I say ok. Then I ask for water to drink. They say they are out of water. I say, that's okay, I'll just take a cup and put water in it. Then, they say "the owner says they can't do that". I say, I don't want a soft drink, only water. Really disappointed in the size/value of the gluten free pizza. It's advertised as 12-inch, but what came was barely 8-inch and had a bad flavor. Lettuce came in the pulled pork sandwich, which isn't listed on their menu and was not appreciated when received wilted. read more

WAY over priced and VERY small grinder! Never again!!!! Don't expect this business to be around long!

Absolutely terrible service. I placed a pick up order online just before 7, it said it should be ready in 15-20 minutes. I arrive to pick up my order that I had already paid for and they're closed. The hours online state open until 8, on the door it says 9, so one would think that they would be open at 7:15. If you're going to close 1-2 hours early maybe turn off the online ordering option, or at the very least inform the customer the order will not be fulfilled before they drive all the way to the store. When I called the store the employee just answered by saying "Manicinos we're currently closed" when asked about my order they said "I don't know it's voided." Crazy how it's "voided" and yet I have a $23 charge on my credit card. read more

This was my first visit to this Mancino's. I ordered a Veggie Grinder, but it was basically an 'olive' grinder. Microscopic cheese, microscopic tomato, microscopic lettuce,onion and green pepper and no mayo. If the lettuce, onion and green pepper were there, I couldn't tell which was which, just noticed a VERY few translucent pieces of...whatever. To make it worse, at least a half, maybe 3/4 cup of olives. I'm not exaggerating. I love olives, but this was a really disgusting sandwich. The 'staff' of teenagers were joking about management actually letting 'three teenagers' closing this evening. So, I'll never go back, but 'management' might consider looking at the Mancino's in Lapeer. They always have a responsible manager and they know how to make a really good Grinder. Had to beg for lettuce and tomato on my Nacho Supremes tonight.Got home and NOTHING ON THE STEAK SANDWICH. NO mushrooms, cheese, mayo. Just dried steak and a stale bun. Prices went up 35,% and the service and quality went down 99%.And the uncaring, poorly trained staffed are a joke. read more

Just ordered my last pizza from Mancino's in Grand Ledge. Don't get me wrong the pizza was good. When you order a 16" pizza you expect a 16" pizza NOT 14 1/2" edge to edge. I may be talking to a lawyer regarding faults advertisement. Got photos with tape measure for proof! They should take a lesson from Subway on product size. Place was dirty inside. Gunk on the walls, cobwebs all over the place, dirty blind shades that hang over the table. They left the cheese cloth on the cheese while it cooked and served it to us with it still under the cheese. When asked for a refund we were declined until I became persistent. The worst Mancino's I've ever been to. We will never go back. read more

My wife went to order a couple of grinders for take out at 7:15 on 7/17 and they were already closed. They advertise open until 9PM. I called them to ask why they were closed and they said they ran out of cheese, and other food items. When I told the woman on the phone that it wasn't the first time this happened, she responded saying that it happens a lot on Monday because they don't get the food order until Tuesday morning. Fail #1 would be consistently not ordering enough food to get through the week. Fail #2 is not updating Monday hours to reflect Fail #1. read more

This place is horrible not only is it dirty inside, but the staff is lazy. I went in on my lunch break which of course anyone with a job has a time limit they have for their lunch break. I went in there was absolutely nobody around, I waited for a couple of mins still nobody. I then see a guy in a back room. I asked him if they were open he did not hear me so I had to yell it again. He did not get up and just said "No we're not" I asked him to repeat himself because I wasn't sure I heard him right from all the way across the kitchen, he then said "No we're not, Judge Judy is on" He may of been trying to make a joke but when I had already stood around for over 5 mins waiting on someone to even appear, I didn't find it funny at all. They may have time to just sit around and do nothing but I sure don't. read more

Being from the area, Mancino's is a name and a place to be trusted, not the Grand Ledge location, however. We stopped in for dinner and were sadly disappointed. First of all, we ordered and they got the order wrong. We ordered a 12 inch pizza and received a 12 inch grinder. When I brought it to their attention, the cook told me, "well, it wasn't indicated on the ticket." He was pretty rude about it, but agreed to make a pizza vs the sub. The rest of the order was requested as "for here" but prepared as "to go." We were just handed the stuff in a bag, and not offered a tray or other typical for here materials. The cheesy garlic bread we ordered came with no sauce, we asked for two, were reluctantly given one, had to request the other, again. When the pizza finally came, it was wrong, and I was told, by the other cook this time, "I made what was on the ticket." When it was time to pay the bill we were offered no relief for our inconvenience. The mistakes, and the snotty attitudes to accompany, are not worth the time and effort of visiting this place. You can rest assured we will NEVER go back to this location, and may be soured from all other Mancino's pizza places in the future. Very sad and disappointed. read more
