Wow! My trainer suggested this place because of their grinders. I was slightly hesitant at first, but I decided to give it a try. I odered a salami and turkey grinder with lettuce and cheese. I ordered the meal as well and it cane with a fountain drink and a bag of chips. As I waited for them to make my grinder, I got my drink and started eating my chips. A lovely lady came from the back and started giving all of us our orders one at a time. She was very sweet, and made sure we got what we had asked for. I was super impressed with the way my grinder tasted. I am usually extremely picky. The salami was fresh and tasted amazing with the thin sliced fresh turkey. The turkey was some of the freshiest turkey I have ever tasted. It was so light and airy. It went quite well with the salami. They put just enough dressing on my grinder, and light lettuce as I requested. It was quite filling. I did order a smaller size because I was not too hungry, but I did not expect to be so full so fast! It was actually quite filling, and I will order this size the next time I come in, which will hopefully be soon! read more

The employees here are some of the rudest, most unprofessional, and most disrespectful people I've ever encountered. I was literally yelled at, refused service, and harassed by the entire kitchen. They refused to have a civil discussion and frankly I'm not sure the have the intelligence for it. They can't even manage to do their jobs. I would never be caught dead going there again. I encourage all other to stay away as well. The food is disgusting and they have horrible food safety practices on top of that. read more

I've stopped here three times over the past couple of months. Twice I've gotten a grinder: club and then steak and cheese. These were both excellent. The other time I got a Cobb salad. I think it was just shredded iceberg lettuce but the other toppings made up for it. They piled them on. The staff can be seen when you order and pick up here, and you can see they're all working hard during the lunch rush. I'll definitely be back. read more

I know it was a lazy Sunday and the staff was probably bored, but it doesn't mean they should be dry. There was not a smile from neither of them and they didn't seem excited that I was there. It has been at least 10 years since visiting this location- but it's just as I remembered from growing up in Lansing. I would recommend the steak and cheese grinder- toppings and meat came in generous portions and the bread was perfectly buttered and toasted. The meatball grinder- was average. I would have liked more meatballs and for the bread to be toasted a bit more. Service was friendly over the phone and my order was ready a good to go in the specified timeframe. read more

Mancino's is a great place for a lunchtime or dinner sub pickup. I don't ever get their pizza so I can not comment, but the subs are large, well proportioned, and tasty. Baked in the ovens before it was cool. Staff here is really great, the manager still remembers my name from ages ago when I came in more frequently. Always clean and quick service. Mancino's just misses the mark for hitting my radar for random lunch choices. It's the kind of place I can't eat more than twice a year, and I never think about it or crave it. It's not bad... it's just not good enough to compete with other sub or pizza shops. I find any club-type grinders they offer to be slimey and not meaty enough, so I would recommend sticking with their pizza grinder, and adding some veggies for an additional cost. They tend to slightly burn their grinders, so ask to have yours lightly baked instead. One thing that can be said for Mancino's is that their grinders are very large (albeit unhealthy) and that their $5 lunch special for a regular grinder and a huge fountain drink is a fantastic deal if you're budgeted. read more

OBNOXIOUS! I had read bad reviews of the service, but thought it might just be the occasional slip. Then I experienced it. Went in with my wife and son. Son was very hungry and exhausted after a full weekend at a Lacrosse tourney. Thought we'd grab a grinder on the way home. My wife was undecided on what to order, so I went to the counter and ordered sandwiches for me and my son. The brash woman behind the counter barked out the order to the kitchen workers, who started the preparation. I then said I'd be back in a minute with the third sandwich. The woman then commanded the workers to quit working on the sandwiches! I had to pay for the two, and then start a new order for the third sandwich. Are you kidding me? Like I'm going to somehow order the sandwiches and then bolt? Anyway... this could be considered two visits in one: My First and Last. Oh, and the sandwiches were OK, but nothing great. read more

I have NEVER been treated so rudely by a business owner as I was today. All because I parked in a spot that was apparently a no parking area, however this no parking area is not labeled with a sign or asphalt painting. He waited until my friend & I ordered & paid before saying anything to me about moving my vehicle. I said oh ok I'm sorry I didn't know, I'll move it. I was getting a to-go order but he couldn't even wait until my order was done for me to move my vehicle. I was getting my drink (then headed out to move it & let my friend get our food) & he came over again insisting I moved it RIGHT now. Then he proceeded to follow me out to my vehicle apparently to point out the spot was marked, however he failed because there is no marking. My advice to you Able is to either put up a sign or mark it on the asphalt if it's so important to you to keep that area free of parking or if someone does park there be polite & ask them to move their vehicle as soon as possible. There are quite a few Mancino's around the Lansing area. This one is the best! I got the BLT grinder and it was great! They use full strips of bacon instead of the bacon bits. The staff was super friendly as well. I would recommend this Mancino's to anyone! read more
