I was picking up a takeout order from a restaurant across the street & decided I would check out what the store had to offer before picking up the food. I was dressed in shorts, t-shirt & flip flops. I didn't realize I would be judged while browsing in a shoe store. I tried on 1 pair that did not fit. Then I tried on a pair of buttery soft suede flats that fit & asked the cost since they were on sale. The saleswoman replied "very expensive". I felt like the scene in Pretty Woman. The store had my kids' previous order in their system, so, they got replacement sneakers ready for me to run in and get.
