I've been a regular for years and the clothes are always on-point and great prices. This is one of our community staples; all the locals shop here. The workers are nice to you, no attitude, just chillin and doing their job. Some of them speak Spanish too which is a bonus. Great place, great clothes, never lets me down. The clothes always rotate and there's a lot of stuff to look at. Only drawback is that some people don't wear a mask or have their mask cover their nose. I am here to give a not so stellar review of Mandee in Kearny New Jersey I went in there a few days ago to get a tshirt ten dollars no big deal they didn't have the shirt I wanted in the size I was looking for no problem I picked up two substitutions and waited on line while I was ignored by the two cashiers at the register ignored for so long I left the two substitute shirts and went home today I tried again I actually saw the shirt I was looking for it was on display the display said do not touch I asked the employee if I could have the shirt she refused with no other explanation no reason just the display is not for sale there was no not for sale sign on the display itself or around the store also it wasn't on a mannequin it was literally a hanger on a fence display that I could have taken off by myself but I respected the do not touch display sign the shirt is only ten dollars but how can a store flourish if you don't sell merchandise also how do you expect to stay open if staff are not attentive to customers I guess because I don't do look like the average Mandee customer I didn't get any respect help or assistance although the girl who firmly told me no about taking the shirt off the display was respectful thank goodness for small blessings. OVERPRICED CLOTHES THAT ONLY LAST ONE WASH. RUDE AND LAZY EMPLOYEES. My three word review in case you don't wanna read my full review. I can't even begin to explain how terrible the customer service here is. They're terrible at arranging their racks and excellent at pointing out your mistake in not confirming the price before billing. And also very loud in mentioning how you cannot return the item you thought was $5 but was actually $10 because it was a clearance item. And they will take solace in believing that they're doing their job right. So do yourself a favor and ask them the price of every single item you try on because the tags aren't right and the clothes will not be in the right rack. And in case you ever commit the same mistake like me, that is not confirming the price of 10 clothes that I tried, they will come at you. First for lying that you picked the item off of the wrong rack and then for being so very irresponsible for not checking the price, in spite of the clothes having a price tag and the rack having the price tag. You get what you pay for, right? But this place takes this saying to a whole new level. I have previously shopped at places like Fallas and Charlotte Russe and honestly they sell clothing that parallel and are even better than Mandee at a cheaper price and for a better quality that will not rip at the seams after the first wash. Long story short. Save your money or go waste it where they're atleast aware that customer service goes beyond chiming "Welcome to Mandee" and "have a great day" right after they've ruined it. read more

This store completely changed. Marked up prices for shitty clothes. They tried to make it a high end 10 spot or rainbow. I went in there to get some tights and couldn't even shop cause it was so hot. It's 85 degrees out and they have the front door open for air. Stop being cheap asses and turn the ac on. I think you can afford ac with your jacked up prices on those shitty clothes! read more
