This restaurant is a hidden gem in London. If you're a fan of mandi, this is the go-to place. We ordered the mandi tray with 4 leg pieces. The meal also came with cucumber yogurt and their famous sauce. The chicken was tender and delicious. The rice was spicy, the raisins and almonds also brought in the flavour. Decent food. 3.5 stars but the portion is pretty reasonable for the price (except the veggie stew) so I'll bump it up. The burrito was good but slightly lacking in spices and sauce. Mandi Guys is one of those restaurants where the food is great, but the service and experience is OUTSTANDING! The restaurant itself has great decor and great atmosphere, with even outdoor seating. But what really steals the show is the amazing food and amazing service by Mark! I have visited multiple times and Mark truly goes above and beyond. If you ask, he will glady take the time to explain the lengthy process they go through to make their dishes. He's very passionate about the food they serve and the quality they offer. It really shows in the food itself as well, the Mandi Chicken is fall-off-the-bone delicious, and their house rice is fantastic with hints of cranberry and almonds. I also recommend trying any dessert they offer, as they are probably made by Mark himself! We tried the Red Velvet cake and not only was it delicious, but Mark had made it himself earlier that day.
