Saxophone has been the center of my musical universe since the age of 10. I received my Bachelor’s of Music in Jazz Studies at the University of Arizona (UofA). At the U of A I also studied music education, composition, arranging, and was heavily involved in the athletic bands, including the marching and pep bands. I love many other aspects of music, including arranging for marching bands, writing film and video game scores, music therapy, and learning multiple instruments (clarinet, flute, native american flute, didgeridoo, piano, singing, and ukulele). My outside interests include illustrating, movies, voice acting, reading, and podcasting. I currently teach private music lessons in the Glendale, AZ area, teaching, and performing solo and with various music groups at local events and venues.

Music is my passion, and the center of my creative universe. Something I enjoy in my life, as well as creatively, is options! Just as with art, cooking, sculpting, fashion, or even how we choose our clothes or how to do our hair, we all have options to express ourselves! When I was young I used to describe myself as "wishy washy" because I could never decide on one aspect of music I mostly enjoyed. I changed my music major more than a few times in college, but this gave me a great gift. A large amount of unique musical experiences! Throughout my life and music career I have been involved in everything from: jazz bands, orchestras, quartets, marching bands, composing video game and film music, being a high school band director, arranging music, working at the Musical instrument Museum, and more! I also can't stop learning more instruments! I know now that "wishy washy" is just another phrase for "diverse" or "multi-talented."
