Because of my hair type I had a difficult time finding affordable options that blended well with my hair, as a model I was constantly having to put clip in extensions in to achieve longer hair because constant styling kept my hair from naturally growing. After I stumbled on micro links I truthfully never looked back and had some pretty good luck with my previous hair girls however I needed a more accessible option for me and I somehow came across Andrea from Hair Flair which was located so close to me ( across from square one) I had to try her out and I haven't looked back since. This girl is an absolute delight to be around; she is knowledgeable of her craft and makes the hrs of application whiz by chatting about anything and everything, trust me she is one girl I would tell anything to and know it's locked firmly in the vault. But the main thing is the hair she offers which is premium, un-tapered, Russian hair that feels like silk. The price I paid for my original 22 inches was $400 hair + instillation which is an absolute steal considering the rates I have been quoted and even paid in the past. I have now upgraded to 26" hair (approx $500) the only downside being the hair is in limited hair colors and textures as it is virgin I believe however even after I have dyed and permed the extensions, after a short period of time they bounced right back to being silky and smooth. I just can't say enough about the quality of this hair, and she also offers virgin remy Indian hair and soon Brazilian as well, with an online website that is phenomenal with tons of info and even an online store to purchase the hair directly... good luck finding that anywhere else! She charges $150 for maintenance but I don't even go back until 6 months later and you can reuse this hair for up to 3 years if you take care of it, I have been quoted over $1000 for hair of this quality. And I can personally attest that the hair lasts longer then any I have purchased and I have spent some doe let me tell you.... I had her hair in for a little over 2 years and it was still perfect I just wanted to go even longer. But the proof is in the pudding.....It has been well over 3 months now with my new 26 inches and I haven't lost a single micro link, my hair is tangle free (with proper maintenance of course but nothing more then brushing occasionally, using decent conditioners and tying my hair back when I sleep to avoid matting at the roots) and I still won't go back to have them redone for a few months as I don't mind when they grow out because you cannot tell the difference between my hair and the extensions. She offers fusion and nano links as well which gives customers quite a bit of options and flexibility price wise. She also hand makes my micro links custom for each application with no extra charge, she really is very accommodating in every way possible which is another reason why I will always go back to this girl. Not gonna lie I'm a bit nervous about sharing her with the yelpiverse however I have been MIA for quite some time and do feel I owe you this one. I lost the entire bottom row of my hair which is the longest length of hair most people have. My technician had to come to reinstall the fallen out hair within 2-3 weeks and then came again 2-3 weeks following to remove the hair, to bring it back to Nellie's to have it tested and deemed defective. Which it was, and all I was offered was a free pack of hair!!! Why would I want a free pack of fake hair from this location? I want a refund which is only fair and I ended up with my hair severely damaged, immense hair loss, loss of length of my own hair, loss of money and loss of respect for this company. Look at the pictures of all of the hair that ripped out of my head along with the extensions that fell out. I could not even brush this hair it was a horrible experience!!!! If she finished within the time she'd set aside for the appointment the charge should be the same - and she finished my appointment 30 minutes early while speaking to her husband on the phone for about half my appointment! Incredibly unprofessional. After I asked Reddit if I got ripped off or not, I went to the salon to demand my leftover hair back. They refused to acknowledge that they never took care of me by talking to me about my leftover hair and the options available (leave at salon for future visits or take home with you). NO conversation was offered because I am a first time hair extension girlie and Jessica the owner definitely tried to take advantage of me and my inexperience with hair extensions by keeping the booking deposit and keeping my leftover hair without telling me or recording it into her system. She also asked her student who is training under her to get my hair for her. Her student sneered and laughed in my face the entire time.
