Very Disappointing Experiences EVERY time…read more I am extremely disappointed with this nail salon and will not be returning. The quality of work is not up to par, and the customer service is even worse. I made an appointment, arrived on time, and still had to wait well past my scheduled time. When I approached the owner about my appointment, I was told that someone else was "ahead of me" because they had been waiting longer, despite the fact that I had an appointment. What is the point of scheduling if it isn't honored? This happens every-time I try to give this location another chance. When my nails were finally done the night prior, I repeatedly expressed I did not like them. The nail tech messed up numerous times peeling off the SUPER GLUED TIPS three different times. Unfortunately, the technician did not speak much English, making it very difficult to communicate and I clearly stated that I didn't like about the nails: the lengths were uneven, they were far too thick, and the color was not what I asked for. I went with my mother as a girls day and she contacted the owner to ask about fixing them she ensured me that I could come in and she would fix them free of charge and SET A TIME. Upon my arrival they were packed. Someone was in her chair getting their nails done. As soon as my appointment time had arrived I approached the owner questioning about my appointment time. She gave an excuse that they were busy. When I asked for a refund due to being unhappy with the service, the owner flat-out refused and told me I would not be getting one. She then said I should have said something while the nails were being done, which I absolutely did, multiple times. Not to mention as a business owner you should want to please your customers. My approach was not disrespectful, the owner declined to make eye contact with me, and continued to disregard everything that I was saying. Between the excessive wait time, poor-quality work, lack of communication, and refusal to take responsibility, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this salon to anyone who values their time or money.

Jan was precise, highly professional and very good at making sure we both knew what I wanted. She sells hair products and gift certificates too - which might be a nice holiday gift or a treat for the wife. The salon is about 5-6 minutes east of Ionia just north of M-21 and very easy to find. Go check her out - you won't be disappointed.
