New to the area, so far this is my favorite pizza place. They have what they say they have, and everything's delicious. One slice is $4 and bigger than your head, as opposed to other nearby pizza places, who say on their website they have things, and then don't, gelato or a meat-lovers pizza for example. The slices at the other place are also smaller and only 50¢ cheaper, so not worth their value. Mangia's customer service is pristine and they definitely have their fans, as shown by the tip envelopes on the wall. It's open later so definitey a good late night stop, but only until 9 so I wish it was later still. They're open until 10 on Fridays and Saturdays. Every time I go in, there are almost no people which doesn't make a ton of sense but they also offer carry-out and delivery, and I also come at weird times. The vibes are phenomenal. By far some of the best pizza I have tried in a long time! Was kinda nervous about the pickle pizza and it turned out to be amazing! If you like pickles it's definitely a must have!!! We did a carry out order on a Saturday night with only a 25 min wait! Almost order delivery to our hotel to try some of their other items since they are opened to 3am. read more

Ah, memories! Mangia has been a reliable place for a long time in my life. I remember taking the drunk bus on the weekends just to stop in and see Dan Miller slinging slices to drunken fools. I have been back a bunch of times through the evolutions, and I always try to visit if I'm passing through. I recently went back around lunchtime on my way to Massachusetts. It moved from the old location to a building that I think was a church back in the day. It is a nice upgrade. I like how the people working say "Mangia 2.0" when they answer the phone. It's strange. It's like calling someone by their first and last name all the time. There were three workers and two of us--me and Kiki. The person at the counter was very friendly. I ordered a slice and a couple garlic knots. The price was right at $5.50. Maybe the worker felt bad for us and that we were poor because he gave us a quarter of the pie. It was definitely two normal slices. It could have also been the time of day--lunch with no customers. Anyways, the pizza is awfully greasy. It will stain your shirt. It tastes pretty good though. The cheese is melty like falling off the slice. There are some nice herbs in the sauce. The crust is definitely New York style, it is a huge flat slice with a nice crust edge. I love slice places that reheat the slice. Fold it in half, watch your shirt and have a nice day. Don't steal garlic knots. This is a business. You should be ashamed of yourself. read more

Somehow this pizza always tastes sweeter at 3AM. I remember making a sport out of stealing garlic knots off the counter. Ah, the good old days. Classic New York style thin crust pizza. Wings and other appetizers available as well. A great place to grab a slice with friends. read more

Would have given at least 3 stars but the customer service was terrible and the pizza wasn't worth it either. The lady at the cash register was so rude she literally threw our pizza in our face simply bc we asked Nicely about getting a fresh slice of pizza. Coming from someone who works in the service industry we left no tip bc of how badly we were treated. I do not recommend this place! read more

While driving through New York I decided a pizza stop for lunch would be the way to go. In my experience, good pizza can usually be found in a college town, so we decided to stop here, even though there were some mixed reviews on other sites. There are two main reasons I absolutely wish we had gone somewhere else: 1) Canned mushrooms on the pizza 2) Disgustingly dirty dining area I don't care about small, dive type restaurants as long as they are clean, but this was unacceptably dirty. It was hard to even think about eating when I was being stared down by a spider hanging out in his web in the corner. Thankfully everything behind the counter looked cleaner, but really, with the lack of attention in the dining area, who the hell knows what I was missing. Things I could see were floors that hadn't been mopped in a LONG time, the aforementioned spider, and a crumb covered booth. I did notice that they are open until I think 3am most days, so my guess is most of the business comes from drunk people who stumble in for a slice and are too inebriated to notice/care about the dining room grime. read more

Definitely the worst chicken tenders I've ever had tasted old and spoiled. Pizza is fine. Any chicken product is horrible.

Yesterday, our basketball team won a championship game and I showed up at Mangia ahead of the rest of the team and families thinking Mangia was still open. The staff had the chairs and table stacked and the floors cleaned and they were ready to leave. Instead they invited us in, reset the chairs and tables for us, and took our order. We had about 15 people in there eating pizza and left 45 minutes later. So nice of them to invite us in and celebrate our big win with pizza ! Excellent pizza as usual, and over the top service! The University of Michigan Naval ROTC drill team was traveling back from Cornell when we started having bus problems. We called Mangia and asked about them coming to deliver pizza to our team on I86 while we were waiting to have our bus fixed. They willingly did this. We appreciate them doing this for us and their promptness in getting the pizzas to us. Highly satisfied with the pizza and cooperation from them. Thanks again. read more

This is a FANTASTIC little find if you don't drive right past it!!! you can get a great thin-crust NY pizza here for a very reasonable price; garlic knots that are fabulous, even hours later... there is usually classic rock or something worth while cranking over the speakers, and most of the workers will walk around singing away - so don't be afraid to rock out the air guitar or drums as you wait for your pie!!! read more

Decent pizza but I personally think that 16 dollars for a large pizza is just too much. The pizza is okay but I also ordered fried dough balls and they confirmed it with our order. But when the delivery man showed up there was no fried dough balls. read more

Well.... stopped there on a Friday night for a few slices... there was a girl making pies who seemed to be new. Apparently was struggling with tossing the dough and the pie we witnessed was not going together as planned. Management came out and suggested " blowing under the dough" i guess. Thats must be a new technique. She suggested several times that she thought that was unsanitary but it went on anyway. Sadly this all happened in front of paying customers!!!! Not recommend if your looking to keep germs to yourself..... we threw our food out. Health department to be notified..... good luck. read more

This place was a life saver! We were driving through the area and our bus broke down on I-87. The bus wasn't going to get fixed anytime soon, so I called up Mangia, and asked if they could deliver us some pizza. Without missing a beat, I was given to the owner who accommodated us and about an hour later we had 10 fresh, hot pizzas delivered to us on the side of the freeway. The pizza was delicious and it made the wait for the bus to get up and running at least somewhat bearable. Thank you to owner and all the staff at Mangia, you really helped us in our hour of need, not many other places would have done that. You guys are the best. read more
