The adult staff at other areas of the park are amazing, not all are bad apples, but please fix the behavior of the younger staff at the main pool. I was here with my family and when we arrived to the pool, i mean everyone is super excited to go swimming, and then this staff, little big bigger of a girl, is just on our asses about EVERYTHING. Cant do this, cannot bring that, literally nothing. I understand rules and regulations, but you don't have to be condescending about it like you're in some power hungry struggle. She even came at my daughter when she had a sealed container of food that when she walked into the park, the two boy staffs didn't say anything, but of course when my girl sits down trying to just enjoy the day, mind you not even touching the container its under the chair, this lady is walking around, stops at us, literally SCANS everything we have with her eyes, kicks my kid out because she had a container of food she wasn't even touching. Like I said, i understand rules but you don't have to be an ASS when conveying those rules. As an owner of a business, do some more team training for these younger workers because that was ridiculous. I could write a whole segment about the girls working the concessions but i honestly just do not have the energy too, moral of story, fix this behavior.

We had so much fun at this huge park!…read more We thought the little kid picnic table was particularly adorable. All of the playground equipment was accessible, which we really appreciated. We love the parent and child swings although one of them are super squeaky. There was so much to do with this park. We saw people playing basketball on the super nice courts. We saw disc golfers. They were other kids at the playground, even at dusk. It was very close to a residential neighborhood, but everybody seems super nice. I think there was a dog park too? It was huge so we didn't explore the park very much because it was dusk and we needed the kids to get some energy out. My kids asked to go back when they woke up today out of all the things we're doing, so it's definitely memorable!!

I love that once you are on the email list they have summer jump deals and memberships so your little one can get out their excess energy. Part of the ceiling was actually falling in one place over the lockers and dripping water. The place is showing signs of wear for sure. The play areas are not monitored well. Height requirements for certain areas are not enforced. There were older kids going through the smaller playground area and younger kids in the ninja warrior course. The snack bar area is overpriced and lacking in food choices. Let's talk about that stale air again.... Unfortunately, there were some parents who thought bringing sick kids to an indoor trampoline park is a good idea. I witnessed several kids sneezing and coughing while we were there and sure enough a couple days later my kids started showing symptoms and we've been sick for a week now. They have a small snack bar for drinks and ice cream which is nice. The thing I love is the Frisbee golf course. This isn't terribly far from my house so it is nice to have a different park to play at now. The tees are open and not high par but still a nice toss. Well done Jenison parks and recreation!!
