No. This place is terrible. Do not come here. Ever. Do not come to a bar that makes incredibly creative cocktails of only Italian ingredients. Do not come to a place that oozes hipster so bad you can't see over its pelvis. Do not sit here, eat outstanding spiced olives, and drink drinks you'll never have the like again. Because if you do that then I won't be able to find a seat here again, and this was a highlight of my trip to Florence. Found this place while walking by and glad we sat down for some drinks in Florence. Manifattura feels super cozy, intimate vibe with a retro-modern aesthetic, makes it a cool place to be. The cocktail list is 100% Italian. I got a nonalcoholic drink and it was great they had those options as well! The bartenders clearly know their stuff and are super friendly It's not a huge place, so get there early if you want a seat. Prices are totally fair for the quality and the whole experience is nice. Highly recommend if you're into cocktails, design, or just want a break from the more touristy spots. Will 100% go back next time I'm in town. read more

Nestled on a side street near Piazza Santa Maria Novella, this Italian cocktail bar is stunning. It is owned by a few local entrepreneurs, one of whom we learned is actually an architect. The decor is sleek and the bar very pretty to peruse. The selection of spirits is expansive and uniquely ALL ITALIAN! They have a nice wine list and a lovely charcuterie board you can order to accompany your beverages. But it is the mixology that is the real highlight here. Our bartender Sara was just awesome... creative, personable and skilled! She made us some amazing cocktails. In fact they were so yummy, we order a few each and opted to skip out on dinner that evening in favor of a liquid meal! It helps if you speak a bit of Italian not because they don't speak English well, but just because you will fit in better. This is a local spot even in a touristy area but the Clientele is primarily Italian and that's what makes it wonderful. read more

I don't usually write reviews but my girlfriend and I enjoyed this place so much that I wanted to support them. They specialize in aperitifs and cocktails using only Italian ingredients, of which they have an incredible amount. Everything we tried was amazing - the aperitifs and snacks that we had before dinner were so good that we went back the same night for cocktails, and would have returned again if it hadn't been our last night. The two guys working there were great, extremely friendly, welcoming, and obviously very passionate and knowledgeable about drinks. The selection of obscure Italian spirits was impressive, but it was the way they were used to create balanced, interesting and above all delicious cocktails that was really what stood out. We had some very good drinks in two other highly regarded cocktail bars in Florence, but Manifattura was our favourite of the holiday, and one of the best I have ever been in. The drinks were also more affordable than the other bars, although even if prices were equal I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Manifattura above the others. read more

First cocktail bar we visited. Yummy drinks, yummier appetizers. The liquor drinks in Italy are very different from the ones in the US. Let your bartender guide you. Sarah is terrific and made us a couple of mule offshoots. Very tasty. What was more impressive were the appetizers. The steak tartare was amazing and I dislike steak tartare. Manifattura prides itself on being a craft cocktail bar that only stocks Italian products. This makes for a fascinating cocktail experience. Classic cocktails made with Scotch make way for ones made with peated gin and a Negroni is more like a base spirit than a cocktail, with several manifestations on the menu. Every craft drink is named after a famous Italian celebrity and a small photo of them along with the drink's ingredients are rested atop the cocktails. It was one of the most interesting cocktail experiences of our trip simply due to the self-restricted nature of their products. They won't make you a Last Word, but they've got plenty of other experiments to tempt you with. If you're feeling bold, and you're a real cocktail bar aficionado with the patience to hit many locations in Florence, see if they'll give you a "passport" that showcases several other good cocktail bars in the area.
