Dropped my items off at lunch and she suggested adding darts to the back of the shirts rather than taking these in as this was cheaper and accomplished the same thing. At the time - Victoria quoted 3 days for the job, but I was able to pick them up this afternoon! Tried everything on and it was just as I wanted it to be! Summary: professional service, excellent communication, quick turnaround (workload contingent, of course), end product as desired - all at a very competitive price point. I do still take all of my clothing there, especially my husband's work shirts and suit. Original Review: We have been using Riverbend Cleaners for ten years. Staff is friendly and most prices are reasonable. Have generally been very satisfied. I don't recommend taking comforters or duvets in, though. They charged me $50 to ruin my king size duvet. It shrank a lot and is no longer usable on a king sized bed. They didn't even apologize! I thought the whole point of going to a dry cleaners was to take care of fine items that can't be just thrown into the washer. Disappointing. But, there have never been any problems with shirts or pants or more common items.

I took a designer shirt here (value 350$) and received it back damaged. The new damage to the shirt…read morewas a large sticky stain, discolouration around the collar and the colour of the shirt drastically faded from dark grey to washed out light grey. When I brought this to their attention they immediately refused to take any accountability and tried to shift the blame. God was even brought up as a reason they claimed it was not them who damaged the shirt because they "believed in God and wouldn't lie about the damage". The simple fact is when I dropped this shirt off to get dry cleaned their was no stains on it at all, when I picked up the shirt the damage was obvious. I was very disappointed I had to argue with them because their refusal in taking accountability. After further arguing she stated she would try and clean it again to remove the sticky stain that was there. When I returned to pick it up the sticky stain was gone but the colour of the shirt had been so washed out and faded it looked like a raggedy old shirt :( She then offered me a 50$ credit. 50$ credit for a 350$ shirt is unacceptable. The customer serve here is terrible. It's very clear that if they damage something they will not take any accountability for it, they will prefer to argue instead, somehow bringing God into the argument. Such a horrible experience. I've never had this happen to me before with any dry cleaning service. One place lost my item and immediately showed remorse and reimbursed me for that item.. there was zero accountability here and or sufficient reimbursement. I will NOT be returning to use the insulting 50$ credit. I do NOT recommend bringing designer or valuable clothing items here !
