The ID that was on the screen I saw and there was no change in my looks on the ID, so I had to leave and bleed all over my friend's car because those who say Icare really don't care. They defiantly need to change this policy or the name to ID care only even if they have your ID on file because if they cared since it was emergency they could have stitched me up unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place if you have an emergency if you're bleeding and don't have your identification on you. Do yourself a favor and go to the ER you wait a little longer and use the ID they have on file. Thank you, Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center my trip from the Icare to the ER was longer than my wait.

I have been a patient at Blair Medical for about 10 years and during that time the two ladies at the front desk have not once been nice or accommodating. When walking into the office they not once have greeted me, as well as, I have stood at their window on several occasions for well over 5 minutes before one of them even offered to help me. It is such a shame to see the professionalism of the medical staff be completely diminished by their receptionists. I don't know why they do not let these two individuals go. Needless to say I am no longer a patient at Blair Medical and the sole reason is their rude, unprofessional, front desk receptionist. They need a lesson in customer service!!!

I found out about Grane Hospice by sheer luck as I was sitting in the ICU waiting room at Altoona…read moreHospital. One of the ladies in the room said she used them for her sister and highly recommended them. She advised me against using the hospital's hospice. I called Grane the same day and they informed me of next steps to initiate hospice and agreed to meet me the next morning at the hospital. The next morning before we even met -- I called them and said my dad needed to go home today and that I needed 24 hour nurse aide care in addition to hospice. They pulled out all the stops to make that happen pulling in Home Instead to help with the additional care. Every person from Grane was genuine, caring, and went above and beyond for me. Thanks to them I was able to get my Dad home so he could pass away peacefully. I will never ever forget the care they gave on the worst days of my life. Not being from here I was nervous... I am so thankful to the lady in the waiting room for recommending Grane. Special thanks to Tommi, George, Scott, and Terry. You all are amazing.
