After the forms, I paid what I thought was my copay, ended up being short actually. I went back and waited to see the doctor on call and then headed to the X-ray area. Returned to the room and waited again. What really would have cost me about $2.50 in OTC medicine ended up being $65 total. I knew I busted up my knee, but because of work demanding an excuse, I wasted more money than I should have. Remember that copay I mentioned earlier, well I get a bill in the mail for $5 because they didn't charge me the full amount. I then ended up getting another bill in the mail for $40. You know what I found out after all this and what will probably cause me to go elsewhere in the future? Conemaugh Memorial is now a for profit medical center. They were bought out by Duke LifePoint. So no wonder I paid more than I should have.

The doctor on duty was not very empathic to the condition of my friend. I don't recall her name but she was a tall blonde thin doctor. She was very unprofessional. The doctor came in to tell us no flu or covid which we were thankful for but did not actually tell us what was wrong. Never sent him for further testing or if necessary. Sent us home with no paperwork or explanation of his diagnosis. Only a prescription for a steroid (which is questionable by google) and ibuprofen. We were very unhappy with this experience.

We were told by the park ranger to go here. When we got here, there were two people standing at the front desk. There was a sign that said, "please wait here to get checked in." We sat there for about 10 minutes and no movement. We asked the people in line how long they had been standing there. They said they've been waiting for 40 minutes with no interaction with staff. Seriously? That is ridiculous. We ended up leaving and drove to the Garrett medical center and we were in and out with an X-ray in about 2 hours. I'm sure those two people were still waiting to be seen. This is how you help people? I don't think so.

I went in here and signed in to be seen. That part was fairly quick. The being seen part took well over an hour for me to get to the back and actually be seen by someone. I waited in the waiting room and watch as everyone before me got back there at a snail's pace. Some people really were only in the back for like five minutes and it still took an hour for me to get back there. When I was back there they did the normal things like taking my vitals, getting any allergies written down, and what medications I was taking already. I just wanted confirmation of what I had. And I had to still wait. They tested me for both the flu and COVID. They both came back negative in office, but told me the COVID test would also need to be sent out to be certain. I was basically told that I had a virus, but they do not know which virus. A few days later I received a call telling that the test came back negative. But they waited until after they sent me an email with the same information. I didn't get a bill, yet. But after reading some of these reviews, I'm just waiting to see what they are going to hit me with. They didn't take a copay or anything, even though I know I have a copay. So, yeah, I am just waiting.

HOW ISTHAT MY FAULT? when I told her amoxicillin doesn't work for me she then stated she didn't think I had an infection at all. then WHY BOTHER SWABBING ME AND WRITING A PRESCRIPTION FOR AMOXICILLIN? she got very condescending and talked down to me. She arrived 15min early the morning of the appointment, and her name was not listed in the self-service kiosk. She spoke with a lady at the front desk who was rude to her and said that her name was not in the system and that the text confirmation "did not mean anything." My wife was told that a new appointment was created for later that same day. No further instructions were given. My wife returned the same day 10min before her appointment and was told by a man at the front desk that no appointment had been created and that she needed to wait 2 hours in the waiting room to be seen. Horrible experience. Unhelpful staff. Payment received and no service performed.

The nurse practitioner I saw was a little less than friendly and didn't really seem to care what I had to say. I was diagnosed with a ruptured eardrum in one ear and an infection in the other. I tried to advise her of my previous ear problems as a kid as well as a similar situation that occurred last year. No pun intended but, it literally went in one ear and out the other with her. I just hope her diagnosis is accurate and I haven't been on the wrong meds for the last week. Luckily I will be following up with an ENT.

We went there yesterday with my mother, after eating lunch at a nice little place in the same strip mall (see my next review). Not only is this store large and clean, very well-stocked and with wide aisles - but the two cashiers (Troy & Brendan) and the manager (David) were a superb example of TERRIFIC customer service. Seriously, every store should use this place as an example.
