Great company, they saved me when I was stranded and did an excellent job repairing my car for a fair price!

A mechanic (that didn't work on my truck) informed me that my front light was aftermarket from another fix years ago. Thanks buddy! The mechanic that worked on my truck, however, failed to inform me of that, or give me the time of day when I wanted to discuss my truck. The above were the few nice things, and the only very few nice things end there. I have never had so many lights go on, on my truck, since my truck was "serviced" at this shop. But I assure you, I will not be taking my truck back here ever again for these reasons, and I suggest you go elsewhere as well, if you are able. The entire process took OVER 13 hours of my time - even with a specified appointment time! And if I weren't in the mountains, I guarantee I could find an EXTREMELY better price (and A LOT LESS OF MY TIME WAITING!). Additionally, after I drove away, I found out they HADN'T addressed my front headlight issue, which I specifically brought up THREE TIMES, for them to do. (It wasn't out - the wires just needed reattached as they had gotten loose). I had to drive BACK for them to do so! The icing on the cake, ladies and gentlemen - since I drove away from their shop, I've had tire pressure lights on multiple tires go on (never once since I owned the truck has that happened, and there is nothing wrong with my tire pressure), ABS sensor light has come on, and random ass other lights have come on. And the issue for which I originally brought my truck in, was never addressed, because the mechanic would not listen to me. As you all know, us women, we know nothing, RIGHT?!?!? *EYE ROLL* Will I be taking my truck back to this hell hole, and waste of precious time and money? Nope. Save yourself, your time, and your money, and if you can, go elsewhere. TOODLES! (IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THIS RIGHT, CASHIER'S SERVICE CENTER, YOU CAN FIX THESE ISSUES ON YOUR OWN DIME, ON MY TIME SCHEDULE.)

The state trooper that was at the accident said that we would not be able to take our trailer back to our yard and that the towing company would have to take it. We argued and said that we could take it because it was not damaged, and we had brought another semi to take it home with. He would not let us and said we would need to call a towing company to get our truck and trailer. So, we called our towing company to come pick it up for us and the State Trooper said to cancel it, that he had just called another towing company. Which happened to be A Automotive and Truck. They have been down our throats since the accident about coming to get our trailer, even though it is out of our hands now and in the hands of insurance. They have harassed us AND insurance over the phone. Lloyd does not understand that insurance takes time to go through and cannot just throw out money to people and companies. He has yelled over the phone to us and charged our driver $450 to come onto the premises DURING HOURS. They have also charged us $400 per day for every day that the truck and trailer is there. Which is really high compared to most towing companies that charge between $100-$200 per day. The bill for our totaled truck right now is about $12,000 and our trailer tow bill is about $13,000. Which is crazy because the trailer wasn't even damaged. Overall A Automotive and Truck have been terrible to deal with and I would not recommend them to ANYONE that has a wreck because they will harass you and overcharge you.

We called Good Sam Club and AAA and neither of them "could help". Finally Good Sam gave us a number to a gentleman who they said they couldn't get ahold of. I called and he answered immediately. He came to us and said he'd go grab a tire and come back. Mind you, this was a Sunday and it was in the middle of thunderstorm...and he was closed! He fixed us up, filled up all our other tires, and sent us on our way. That's after Good Sam and AAA kept us waiting hours! Thank you, Lloyd for being our answer to prayer!

They charged 130 bucks to drive it around parking lot only to say, you need brakes. They replaced everything with brand new parts, charged a core charge and we all know how that works. They keep the core charge when they returned the used parts. In the end they did all four wheels and charged over 1400.00. parts where not more than 300.00 plus they pulled the core charge game. Convently they found a broken vacuum line said to bring it back next day they would fix that. 90.00 for a black vacuum line? While paying that bill the girl burning Mike said oh you forgot to pay for the new calipers yesterday. Did I mention he had a GA tag in his car? Pretty sure that had a lot to do with this ripoff.

Also, it would shake if you hit a hole a certain way; however, this was uncommon. After I dropped it off, they called and told me what they thought it needed. The list included upper and lower control arms for both sides, a wheel bearing, ball joints, a sway bar end link, and an alignment. I asked what it would cost, his said his estimate was $1,925. I told him to go ahead and fix it, to which he asked if I also wanted him to go ahead and order me some tires. I declined seeing as I was already paying almost $2,000 at one time. The next day they called me and told me to come get it, my balance was $2,000.88. The only thing I liked about Ridgecrest was they did give me a cash discount. I could not get my truck at the time so I just got the keys. As soon as I picked my truck up that night, I knew something was not correct. I was making a rattling sound like something was loose. It was not making this sound when I dropped it off. They left a bolt loose on one of the control arms, which I found as soon as I crawled under it. They never fixed the grinding either. I dropped it off the next Monday and told them what they had done. They went over everything and done another alignment, because I knew it wasn't in alignment if the passenger side had slack in it. They also tried to find the grinding again, which they thought they had fixed with the wheel bearing. Once they had "fixed" it this time, it done the exact same thing, nothing changed! It still sounded like something is loose and rattling. I took it back again, and had the owner ride with me to show him the sound it was making and to show him the grinding it was doing. He agreed and said something didn't sound right and that he would take another look at it. Today I got a call, and they said it needed tie rod ends and ANOTHER ALIGNMENT which was going to be around $580. They also said they did not know what the grinding was. IN SHORT, I dropped the truck off with two problems and left with two problems and 2000 dollars less. I do not recommend taking your vehicle here.
