I'm so glad to stay this resort even last minutes booking. My coworker and me used Travel Zoo website for autumn gateway package $118/1 night at two Queen beds room with $40 dinner voucher. Check in was quite smooth and had good rest after long hiking. I wished there is a coffee maker or electronic kettle to make a coffee in the room. Because the store near the restaurant opens at 8am and it's kinda late to grab a coffee for leaving early morning hike. The price range in the restaurant and store is same as city. Not like in Whistler. All stuffs are very friendly and I'd like to come back. P.S indoor pool is closed for Covid 19.

Bear Bites ice cream was yummy and nice place to relax in the sun.

Great way to end a long section of the Pacific Crest Trail! Staff were all super friendly and food was excellent. Room was comfy and had everything I needed. Easy access to trails even without having a car.

We got here around 9PM and there was nothing to do at night. They have games room for kids and adults. You can rent equipments for pingpong at the front desk to play. Also you can play Foosball, video game(there's only one),pool and stuff. Also there are fitness room and swimming pool as well. Swimming pool opens from 8AM to 10PM everyday. My sister and I enjoyed swimming there it was fun. Locker is available for a $1. There are 2 hot tubs available along with sauna and a steam room. We found steam room too cold though. I thought we got a room for a cabin, but stayed in a room since there was none available. At least they had microwave and a fridge to use. I suggest bring your portable range, frying pan and utencils in case you don't get to stay in cabin. Also bring your own sandwiches since there's only one restaurant next to the souvenir shop. Price isn't cheap.

But the rooms were fairly clean. Some of the hot and cold knobs on the showers on the 2nd floors sure are quite backwards in the way one has to figure out how they work. one can pay for the premium wifi for $3 day which still sucks and is similar to dial up. The kitchen has all the appliances a group could need and kudos for having a dishwasher. one still gets access to the Resorts' Lagoon indoor pool, saunas and hot tubs which is a good bonus. The scenery around the area is truly mountain beauty with plenty of hiking trails. The service from the staff was always friendly and prompt. I hope the ownership takes a look at some of the resort's features and updates them. The games room is looking aged, lonely and shabby.

I checked out this place, after finding out Manning Park Resort was full. At first, they told me they were full, and I asked if there was anything else nearby, to which they said No not until Princeton. They were having a BBQ in backyard, and they chose to interrupt the BBQ and mealtime, to immediately clean a room so I could stay there, as someone had left early. The room was gorgeous inside, and I wish I could have stayed under better circumstances, instead of having major IT band pain. The next morning, I still could barely walk, and while saying my thank you's and goodbyes to the owners, they noticed how much pain I was in. They offered to drive me with my bike and luggage, up to Princeton, which was a 40 minute drive up the mountains. If I ever dare to challenge those mountains again with a bicycle trip.... I will DEFINITELY spend a few days at Manning Eastgate Motel.

After our hike, we made our way to Mazama, stopping at the Mazama Store before heading over to the inn, at which point we realized how tiny and great Mazama really is! We arrived to the hotel around 2:00pm and I was happy to learn our room was ready for check in. A friendly gentleman handled the process and though he shared he doesn't usually work the front desk, you honestly wouldn't have known as check in was smooth, welcoming, and effortless. Our room was located on the second floor of the main building, and to our surprise, it was actually a loft style room which was a really fun bonus! The room also had a small balcony, a kitchenette with a mini fridge, Keurig, and microwave (I think) and even though the bathroom was on the smaller side, the shower was excellent... I love a good hot shower with great pressure. After dinner, we relaxed by dipping our feet into the hot tub before spending some time in the cozy common area upstairs which again felt warm and homey. The entire property was clean, quiet, and really well maintained. Overall, the price was reasonable, especially considering the area and the level of comfort. I had researched several lodging options of various tiers around both Mazama and Winthrop and I feel confident that I made the right choice. The Inn at Mazama is a gem for anyone wanting to unwind in nature without sacrificing comfort. I would absolutely 100% stay here again!

After several day hikes, the hot tub was a great addition. The staff was great. Do not miss the Mazama store, there's a secret path between the Inn and the store. It has an amazing bakery.

Main St is walking distance with coffee shops and other stores. Far enough from highway 97 so no road noise at all. Very quiet at night. The bed is totally comfortable. I would venture to say it is better than the bed at the Westin where we usually stay while traveling. The room has laundry - that's something I did not expect. A private washer and dryer tucked in a closet near the kitchenette. Pretty cool. Nice granite counter tops and stainless steel full size fridge. Full set of silver wear; including set of cooking knifes. Dish set and wine glasses all in their proper places throughout the kitchen cabinets. Again, didn't expect any of that and it came very handy. Great sofa set with love set. 2 Toshiba LCDs - one in bedroom and the other in the living room. Great private balcony with wicker furniture set - a table and 4 chairs with great view of the lake. In summary, Will be back!

On the way into Ross, we were the first at the dock: called in to the office and were told 20-30 min. A truck did arrive after 30 min, but it was loaded with passengers for the ferry that first needed to unload, then ferry passengers (who in the meantime arrived) were loaded in front of us onto the truck and left. Then, a second truck with kayaks came - these were then unloaded and we were finally loaded onto a very stinky, loud, and bumpy diesel truck - with us being right behind the exhaust pipe. The ordeal took about 2 hours. On the way back, we were _again_ the first at the dock and told 20-30 min. A truck did arrive after 20 min, but it was loaded with a motorboat that arrived _after_ us. Our kayaks then did not fit safely on the truck and the driver said "I need to leave.". To my request if they can get a driver for the second truck, someone on the other end of the radio replied "We do not have more than 1 truck on the road, and we're short staffed." About an hour later, the truck returns full of canoes, that first needed to be unloaded and finally our kayaks are loaded onto the truck. The truck driver was switched out with a crew of _2_ drivers. Short staffed? Only 1 truck on the road? This return trip took about 2.5 hours. 2 more things about Ross Lake Resort: - They do not assume any reliability for portaging, so whatever breaks even if they loaded it, is not their fault. - They have a noisy generator running all day long. Lies, unreliable service and prioritizing their own resort guests ahead of others makes this a -1/5 in my book.
