We arrived in Cardigan much later than we planned (those Welsh roads at night- yikes!), so our dining options were limited. Fortunately, Mannucci's was open and had plenty of enticing menu options. Admittedly, I was picking up my food to go, and it was very close to closing time, so I'll keep that in mind. That being said, the restaurant (what I saw of it at least) was pretty, and the food tasted really good. The service and presentation however, were less than stellar. Again, I understand I got my food to go, but the Bruschetta really looked like they tossed a slice of French bread in the container and just dumped tomatoes on top of it. The bruschetta was good, but not the greatest. The pizza was large, cheesy and delicious. The Panna Cotta was excellent. It had a sauce in top, in addition to the fresh berries, and that was a great finish to our meal. Again, we didn't dine in the restaurant, and that might've been a little bit better. Can't really comment on the service. They seem to not really care too much about me sitting out there waiting for the food to be ready. Took kind of a long time I thought, but I think they were in the process of cleaning up to close the restaurant in addition to making my food. We never made it back to dine in at the restaurant, but I would definitely try them again and would want to sit and eat in the restaurant as it was quite beautiful from what I saw. There were other people dining there when I arrived to pick up our food, and they seem to be enjoying their meal. read more
