I can tell you that Dr. Shai is completely on the up and up. She did not suggest a single thing that I did not need. She also had a very pleasant personality and explained in detail what work I needed done and why. I believe the few reviews on here suggesting that she tried to up-sell is a result of her thoroughness. She suggests a lot of preventative procedures that will benefit you in the long run. In fact she suggested some of the same procedures to me that people below mentioned in the negative reviews. None of these are unnecessary. However, they are not urgent. This may be why a few people felt that she was trying to up sell. However, take it from me, she is an honest lady that's just trying to give you the best care for your teeth possible. Kept putting it off, with my family constantly saying to go to Dr. Nadine. They all have been gradually being her patients, even the little ones, and all had nothing but good things to say about her and her office staff. True to what my family had said, they are ALL super nice, friendly, and caring. Debbie, the hygienist, was immediately happy to see me (another family member) in their office. X-Rays, cleaning, etc. It's been a VERY long time since I've had anything else done than a clean-up but this time, they needed to take care of a cavity starting to form. Of course, I immediately went to panic mode, but Dr. Nadine calmed me down and gave me some time for the next visit to get ready. That appointment came and I was shaking like a leaf. She kept asking me if I was ok. Did everything at my pace, they even have noise cancelling headphones to block out the scary drilling noise. Yes, the anesthesia needle still hurt but she did it the less painful possible. The process was quick and painless after that, and now I have all good teeth again. Honestly her calm and comforting way of talking to her patients is amazing, especially for patients like me. They make sure all procedure are done right and as painless as possible. Yesterday was the appt for his filling. Him and I waited in the waiting room for 15 minutes before being brought back to a room. Once inside they put on a Netflix movie for my son to watch. We waited an ADDITIONAL 45 MINUTES before I started to get really upset. Not once did Dr. Nicolas come in to quickly let us know that she would be right with us or that she had an emergency and that she's so sorry for the wait. We were just left in that room. After waiting a total of 1 HOUR my son and I headed up to the receptionist who said she's so sorry. We left after waiting for 1 hour and 5 minutes of not being seen!!! I am absolutely appalled and taken back at how Dr. Nicolas operates. There could've been a phone call from a receptionist before I left the house to make us aware of how behind she was running so that we could head in a little later. There could've been communication in the exam room between her and I. There was no phone call later in the day to apologize for the ridiculous wait. The way she blocks her appointment times is obviously not working because she is always sooo behind. This was so unprofessional. I am still so bothered by it. As a mother I'm even more upset that my 5 year old was not cared for and didn't have his treatment at his scheduled appointment time. This place should be shutdown!! It has taken me a long time to write this review since this place…read morealmost killed me!!! I broke a crown (they put in). I needed to have a tooth pulled. No big deal, it was in the back of my mouth. Dr Linsday Hill was 45 mins late, rushed through the procedure and missed a crucial step when she was finished, she never took an X-ray. The next morning I work up in excruciating pain and called immediately. I told them this was not normal. I have had teeth pulled, never in my life have I had this pain. After a week, Dr Hill saw me in cleaned it out and still no x-ray. Finally after week two, lots of drugs and tons of pain she finally had me see Dr Lombardo. Dr Lombardo did an X-ray and there was a piece of the tooth left. Dr Hill sent me to Dr Victor Celis and he put me under and removed the tooth. However by this point, I was spitting up puss, swollen and in tears. I got a second opinion. My savior, an oral surgeon in parkland saved my life! Dr Ross Miller sent me to the ER and had me in surgery the next morning to drain the abscess this place caused from their negligence!!! Then to top it off a few months prior, Dr Lombardo replaced my bridge. Well guess what she did it wrong!!! I had to have the bridge replaced after only having it for a year and a half. Thanks to her I lost another tooth and I'm having to get 2 implants. Do not go to this place!
