I…read morehad tried researching a few insurers myself, but was getting sick of trying to compare everything myself and having to track all of it in a spreadsheet, etc. etc. I then tried a couple of those websites that supposedly check multiple insurers on your behalf, but I didn't have too much success. Finally, I found Jeff and Square State Insurance on Yelp. He was able to find me a new policy for both home and auto, and save me nearly $100 / mo for very comparable coverage. In the current market, every little bit helps. He was also able to answer all of my questions about the new policies, and how switching would work. I will definitely continue to use him in the future if I need to tweak my coverage again.

The house is paid for so no mortgage insurance is required. I said I wouldn't pay it so they sent it to collections. They said they notified me regarding the $189.36 but I never got it. They had the wrong email! When I pay 100% at the beginning of a policy, I don't expect add ons charging more at the end of the policy period.
