Taking it home and opening it I saw that it was NOT the same. I brought it back complaining that I was misled and it was NOT the same. " You opened it,, we can't take it back" was her response. One week later going back to purchase something different I saw that,,,,, wow,, there's the Baileys on the counter you said was discontinued. I purchased it but felt slightly taken. Since then I have been to 2 different stores clearly well stocked with the Brown bottle Baileys. Now I have recourse by going back and telling them that it has not been discontinued and that I've seen it at 2 different locations. " oh no,, you're wrong , it has definitely been discontinued". So what's next for me. Now listen,, I am not an alcoholic, maybe just a small amount once a week. I don't drink alcohol otherwise as lemonade is my go to everyday. So what's next now? I googled Baileys and in clear print and video they post that they are in full production.

Doug was very professional, and open to listening to what my fiancé, my family, and I enjoy drinking. The lay out of the wines and liquors is appealing and Doug is so helpful, answering all questions you may have, as well as, making suggestions. This makes it easier to find what you would enjoy. So far, I'm impressed with the professionalism and customer service. I'll be meeting with Doug soon to discuss pricing and logistics of supplying liquor and wine for my wedding at The Wainwright House.

Had gotten other items from here previously and never had an issue, however those were all bought by dudes; I guess they just focus on lying to women. Regardless of the premise or their chauvinism, last time I checked this type of behavior is called fraud. Looking online on Yelp and elsewhere, it's amazing how many reviews call out the owner for being a jerk (check Google). Allow me to join the chorus, as where there's smoke, apparently there's a fire. Drizly didn't help the situation but they created it, and I help resolved it completely without any interest from the store in owning up to what they did. Steer clear as theyre's plenty of great liquor stores in White Plains and Westchester in general who don't conduct themselves like scumbags.

I wrote a review of this store when I visited for the 1st time which was about a month ago. Since…read morethen, I recently re-visited my review and I believe my review really was not fair. The crux of my then 4 star review was completely based on the fact that I felt overwhelmed by the amount of attention I got from their staff which were all offers to help me. Admittedly, I have a tad of social anxiety and looking back, I think I unfairly judged my experience at this store because of my own personal aforesaid anxiety, coupled with my introversion. This is also why I chose not to update my first review but to simply delete it and start fresh, from a more clear minded perspective. I honestly changed my opinion and was unhappy with my prior elaborate complaints over being offered so much help, while I browsed. In retrospect, every worker that offered their help seemed sincere when they approached me and my bet is that the majority of the population would take and experience that as a major plus! The impression I actually got overall is that the employees and owner of this business are truly passionate about the products they are selling. Some clear facts that I think will be of help to anybody who is looking for this store for the 1st time... it is located in a small shopping complex that it shares with about 3 other stores and they share a parking lot so you should not have trouble finding parking for your shopping experience. The other stores in the complex are "Venice Pizza," and a dry cleaners. I should also point out for first time customers that the signage is modest and fairly easy to miss... What should be of service in locating this business is that it's located across the street from two businesses that have obscenely large signage - "Imperial Wok," and "Townhouse Diner." I also will quickly take a minute to discuss the ambience that's inside the store. The modern rustic, clean and organized atmosphere is one that I found attractive and appreciated. It definitely felt inviting, had character, was unique, and also quaint. I actually scarcely drink wine so I dont think I was able to take advantage of all this business has to offer. They have a large variety of very expensive wines and spirits that any wino or connoisseur or just someone who wants to learn more about the options available to them (i.e. grape type, wine style, age, etc.). For someone looking to enhance their palette and/or increase their knowledge so that it goes beyond the common and rudimentary, I think this would be a place to go for that purpose. I didnt actually know whether or not they offered wine tastings until pulling out of the driveway, when I noticed a window sign indicating that they do indeed offer tastings, twice a week.. I believe it was Fridays and Saturdays. Once again, ironically going back to the subject of customer service, I think a shopper looking to deepen their wino lifestyle would find a staff member who would give a shopper personal attention.
