Taking it home and opening it I saw that it was NOT the same. I brought it back complaining that I was misled and it was NOT the same. " You opened it,, we can't take it back" was her response. One week later going back to purchase something different I saw that,,,,, wow,, there's the Baileys on the counter you said was discontinued. I purchased it but felt slightly taken. Since then I have been to 2 different stores clearly well stocked with the Brown bottle Baileys. Now I have recourse by going back and telling them that it has not been discontinued and that I've seen it at 2 different locations. " oh no,, you're wrong , it has definitely been discontinued". So what's next for me. Now listen,, I am not an alcoholic, maybe just a small amount once a week. I don't drink alcohol otherwise as lemonade is my go to everyday. So what's next now? I googled Baileys and in clear print and video they post that they are in full production.

Those were the only two bottles in stock and they refuse to initially exchange. They later agreed to exchange, however only with a same item that would not arrive in time for a Christmas gift. I tried to exchange for another item of equal or more value, expecting to pay the difference but they would not work with me. I had to go to another liquor store in order to buy the same bottle to give as a gift and out money now. They are really making me go out of my way to dispute the charge on my credit card at this point. Awful way of doing business, especially during the stressful holiday season. They have products not found in the larger supermarkets, but you will pay an arm and a leg. The prices throughout the store are very high. They charge what they do because they can. It's an upscale area and people have money to spend. I have gotten into the habit of sometimes stopping there on my way home from an appointment in White Plains and buying a few things. It's an expensive habit. But I would never consider it a place to purchase groceries on a regular basis.
