Going from Holiday Inn Mansfield to the airport. Trip from airport to Holiday In via UBER was $34. Couldn't use Uber going home because we left at 4 a.m. and were concerned about Uber availability. Holiday Inn suggested several companies and I used Manfield Taxi. NEVER AGAIN. Driver was rude (waiting for my wife to come to the taxi two mins late driver says 'When is she going to be here I have things to do' ..excuse me?) - Then the SOB SHOVED our luggage into the back of the van which didnt initially fit..just kept pushing them as if some how 'magic space' would be created... NEVER use this Pirate company. UBER is awesome and the way to go. Even if you have to leave much earlier to ensure an arrival.

I know several people who have had an issue with this company. Twice they claimed to be where I…read moreasked to be picked up but were nowhere in site. My brother called for a midnight pickup when his train came in and called twice to confirm they could do the pickup. They said they could and when he arrived not only were they not there, but when he called them they had no reasonable excuse. He had to jog the 5 miles home, at midnight, in december so he didnt have to ask his wife to come get him with their newborn. On top of it, my sister had them pick her up, she came out from the restaurant and had to use the bathroom, she gave him half the fare to wait and when she came back out, 5 minutes later, he was gone, as was her money. do not use them.

For me its always been money in the bank reliable, even times when business needs or flight schedules have me coming in at crappy times. He (I think its all one guy but not totally sure) is even on top of it when my flight gets screwed up (I wind up stuck on American a lot where flight problems are a common thing I have to make sure I am always prepared to adjust to) and when I land and am still taxiing into the terminal is when I get my first contact (he monitors and knows as soon as the plane touches the runway) that he is nearby and will be right there out front when I exit the terminal. Always pleasant, always reliable, vehicles clean has always been my experience. Im not sure what else I should be asking for.

I called for a ride to the hospital for a scheduled breast cancer surgery. My husband is very ill and my daughter lives out of state and the ride I planned fell through. Needless to say this was a very stressful and emotional time for me. The dispatcher quoted me a price of $28 - cash only. The cab arrived promptly at 8:30. I could not open the broken down old slide door! Hmmm, ya think the driver might have gotten out to help? Nah! He not only didn't open the door for me but was annoyed that I couldn't do it myself. Before even moving he demanded money up front and now asked for $30 as I got in the car at 8:32 . He explained it was a dollar a minute! I brought $40 cash with me with with the plan of giving it to him and asking for just $5 back allowing for a $7 tip! I was in tears as having to ride with this awful man for something so emotional and life altering! I explained to him that my father was a cabbie for many years and that I had worked in the food service business and that I come from a long line of tippers! My Dad would NEVER have treated a customer like that! He then said "ok only 60 cents a minute. I handed him $30 and of course he had no change. I told him "there's your tip"! I was clearly distraught of which he had not an ounce of compassion! He pulled up to the hospital without saying a word! Once again I struggled to open the door and he could not possibly get off his a-- to help me just kept explaining how to open the door! He sure took me for a ride!!
