The environment is so calm, clean and cozy. They make you feel so comfortable asking if u need a snack or coffee/tea (they'll ask u twice at least) I had messed up my hair with box dye (two many times with too many boxes) I couldn't reverse it back to blonde like I had in the past (my natural hair) I needed help so I went there and they gave me fancy treatment. With the questions, seeing if I needed anything, listening to me down to the fine line. They were so kind and compassionate/ caring easy to talk to ... (not gossipers like other place. terrible experience with customer service. I stopped by in person yesterday to make an appointment. They took my first name, last name, and phone number and we agreed upon a time. Today, I showed up for my appointment and proceeded to be gaslit by the check-in staff about whether I had an appointment. Note that this was the same person who had been working the desk when I made the appointment and who acknowledged that she had been working the desk that night. I understand that mistakes happen, what really bothered me was the gaslighting and lack of even a basic apology. We're doing a family photo shoot and well, I guess thanks to Mantra salon I'm just out of luck on the hair front. The only reason this review is three stars and not 1 star is because Tony(sp?) did a nice job with my spouse's hair the other day. I go to Siera at Mantra for my lashes and I absolutely love them! She always is so nice and creates a relaxing atmosphere with serene music and a heated lash bed, I feel so spoiled. I get so relaxed I fall asleep almost every time! It truly is such a treat being at Mantra, it's a gorgeous salon. Sierra does my lashes at Mantra and they are absolutely beautiful! Best decision I've ever made for my beauty routine! The atmosphere is relaxing yet posh, all staff are super friendly, owner is quick to please, advanced styling products, open floor plan with large windows and exposed brick. There's also a super cute boutique in the front alcove of the salon that has a variety of cute accessories and clothes! 10/10 experience here, I always feel so refreshed and beautiful! the bridal party I was apart of had their hair done here prior to my cousins wedding in April. My hair was already curled from the rehearsal dinner the night before, so the stylist recurled a couple strands. The look I was going for was loose beach curls, which I had already and then I requested a half up top knot bun. This took about 10 min max, easily something I could have done. At payment, we were all charged 26 dollars and some change. Then as we left and we're getting ready upstairs, the receptionist came up to the suite and stated she did the math wrong and we now owe another 25 dollars. This happened to 5/6 bridesmaids, the other bridesmaid ended up paying more the second time around. The hairstyle I got wasn't even an updo, so paying someone 50 dollars to curl two strands of my hair and put twirl half of my hair in a bun was ridiculous. Not only that, but the disorganization of payment was inappropriate. I would not recommend this salon for weddings. It did not leave me feeling satisfied and I could have done a better job if I had just done my hair. Beautiful, clean salon and the accessible location is a plus. read more

Love this place. Along with looking like a high end salon without ridiculous high prices, the stylist are awesome. Toni is not only skilled, put patient and kind when doing my child's hair. This place had not just Toni who is skilled at doing a bi-racial head of hair, bit, there is another stylist as well, who is able to do braids and weaves. I love the salon it's super cute and has such a great vibe I would recommend going there and going to anyone BUT RYLEE. She completely ruined my hair. I was going from a dark brown to a balayage which is a process in itself, I told her a million times I understood how long it will take and I kept telling her I didn't want my hair damaged. I totally was okay with the weird i between colors. But she killed my hair. She was over processing it to the point where she could not even dry my hair! It was like noodles after leaving the salon... she tried to blow dry it but it would take forever and never fully dried ... my hair started falling out the day I left the salon. It was and STILL is so incredibly thin and breaks off STILL. The color was so uneven and ugly I can't believe she let me leave the salon like that. She tried to blame it on the products I was using at home but I've only ever used olaplaex for the past year and a half. My hair is completely ruined, she never apologized or tried to fix it. So now I have to wait years for my hair to grow back... I have never had this thin or damaged hair in my life. Do NOT go to Rylee. read more
