First, some of the pics in here must be from another location they had in the past because that's definitely not what it looks like now. The low rating is primarily for how dirty the place is. There was hair everywhere, even at the entry as we walked in, and guys sitting in barber chairs waiting for customers but not cleaning anything. The customer service is nonexistent and it's so unprofessional. Like some guys turned their garage into a barber shop vs a reputable business. There was music blasting and two tvs blasting in a small space, so unpleasant. Definitely would not recommend. read more

My 12 year old son told us last minute that they have 6th grade pictures the next day. At 6pm I searched Yelp to see who was open and found Manup! I called them and they were able to squeeze him in at 645pm. Abdul was the barber that cut my child's hair. My child and hubby were really happy that it didn't take long but also that he gave a great haircut. Thank you for squeezing us in last minute. This was our first experience with this shop. They will be back for sure. $30 was the cost. read more

Just happened to be in the area for an appointment for my wife. I saw the Man Up Barber sign and turned to Yelpers to check their reviews. Pretty good reviews so I called the shop to see if I could get in for a cut. I spoke with Angel on the phone and he was cool, friendly and professional. He told to come on in! The shop is in a nice location with a nostalgic vibe. Angel immediately greeted me and showed me around. They had 5 barbers handling their business! The shop was clean with a nice tv with a game on. Angel offered me a cold beverage which made this out of towner feel right at home. AB hooked me up and gave me a Firme cut for being the first time. All the barbers were friendly and Angel is a true professional. Definitely worth to check out this shop. I will be back for real when I'm back in the area. Good to meet everybody. Stay Firme Angel! To start If I was able to not leave no star I would, unfortunately it doesn't give me that option. My husband had an appointment at ManUp today at 4:45pm,he gets there and had to wait because the barber was behind schedule.to top it off he cuts his hair as if my husband was his first hair cut ever,just look at the cut! I can't believe he let him walk out this way as a barber I can't believe your letting him walk out the way you left him. At least style his hair before he walk out! We've been to other barber shops and they always style his hair , they literally take their time to look and make sure he is happy with the haircut. Shame on you!!! For the horrible haircut you Left him with . Definitely not worth $50 plus $10 tip.I can't believe my husband still left you a tip , but then again my husband is a nice man.He came home telling me they had new owners, well he's not going back! Took my son there to get a haircut, appt scheduled with AB, I told him how I wanted my sons hair he listened to What I was saying and completely came through. The customer service is amazing, they have a pol table and it's a really cool atmosphere. Think we found my sons barber. AB tapered his hair cut and it blended perfectly. read more

Man Up barber shop is as good as it gets. From the environment the haircut the conversation and the prices. I bounced around from a couple barbers in Corona for the past few years , but I think I have found my new home. Today was my first time there and Alex was my barber. He listened to exactly what I wanted to do and executed it perfectly. The barber shop is very laid back and as all good barber shops are very relaxing. Not dirty not loud and an overall friendly place. This is a full-service stop. You can get a shave and a haircut and they do both very well. Water beer and coffee are available, as is a pool table in the waiting area. I guess if you are waiting for your Barber because you didn't make an appointment having a beer and playing pool is a nice way to relax. If you're looking for a new Barber around the crossings and the Corona area I would wholeheartedly recommend ManUp. read more

First off this place is great place to come and get a hair cut. The vibe of the shop is very welcoming plus it's very clean. The owner of the shop is really nice and humble ! He told me that he has 100 year old barber salon chairs in the shop, which look in amazing shape ! The barber that gave me a cut was Erick, which did a great job on my hair. This lady did such a good job, I feel like a completely different person, and she's very friendly, the conversation flowed like we'd been friends for years. Very friendly great service but, they don't seem to use a real straight edge razor but otherwise a good place.

My daughter took my son to @ManUp Barbershop at the Crossing. He showed the woman pictures and showed her the 3 and said he liked this one the best. She screwed it up and he hates it. You can see his scalp and he says I can't wear a hat because they will make be take it off in class. Crushed his self ego ! Yes it can grown back but it is bad. read more

Great haircut from Alena. Made a last minute appointment for a same day cut. She fit me into her schedule even after we were initially cut off from our phone call. She sent a follow up text message. I arrived late because of some unexpected traffic (thanks Caltrans!) but Alena was still very accommodating. She hooked up a nice mid-fade and got me looking like a new man. Especially considering it's been a while since I stepped foot inside an actual barbershop (the rona and all). Will definitely be back. Felt very welcome as though I had been a returning customer even though it was my first time (new to the area) and Alena was like having a personal stylist. read more

At first the haircuts were good, I will be fair and say that. I've gone a few times and always gone to Russel Ocampo but after today I was convinced that no more and here's why. 1. Russ doesn't remember what you will ask for & will give you something different 2. What's the point of making an appointment if all the times I've gone I was seated almost an hour after my schedule set time. 3. Don't be shy to make him touch up or re-work his angles because today he gave me an uneven fade to the point my girlfriend can notice which side is higher. 4. They upped their prices, yet same basic quality of haircut. 5. A few months back when he was overlapping his appointments, he rushed mine & thought I would be ok with that or wouldn't notice. Overall I wouldn't recommend it for those who are picky and honest with their barbers. I hope this honest review helps you & saves you the time because now I have another haircut appointment next week when I get paid to fix his mistakes read more

Plus, it's in my favorite shopping center which is a good thing or can that be a bad thing because I'll spend more lol. Overall this not a review rating in the stylists and barbers but the procedures in place. I always book time and everything has always worked out up until my last visit. I booked a time the day before and realized that I wouldn't be able to make it. The app had a reschedule feature but did not allow me to. I wanted to give the courtesy of informing the stylist that I would not be able to make it a possible reschedule. Upon calling I was told I can be fit in at a later time that day. I agreed and went in that time. Upon arrival the stylist said she was booked for the day and cannot take me. Understandably I was upset. I rescheduled appointments and had the courtesy to call to reschedule yet as a client I was unable to get the same communication except a sorry I am booked. I changed barbers and have been coming here regularly with my son but now one bad instance and I will be going there no more. Please update your procedures so that you don't lose more good clients. read more

I walked in today to see if they have any openings, I did not like the hair cut my son received at another barber shop and needed someone to fix it ASAP. Angel was very helpful and introduced us to AB who was very nice. AB did a wonderful job and worked well with my fidgety 8 year old son. The place was very clean and looked really nice. Was in the area to eat lunch and do some shopping and noticed this gem. Walked in and sat right down only because it just opened 2 weeks ago so not a lot of people know about it yet, but when they do this place you will need to make an appointment a couple weeks out. My wife was with me and she jumped on the Xbox while I was getting my haircut. The owner is super cool down to earth guy who offered me a Modelo Wich I couldn't refuse, he even gave my wife a tour of the establishment. Ezra or "EZ" cut my hair and he did an exceptionally great job and accomplished what most barbers fail to do and that is to please my wife. Super cool decor everywhere. Will be back! read more

Such a clean and classy looking place. The owner gave me a little tour while my husband got his hair cut. They have all the grooming services you could ask for from waxing to men's pedicure/manicures (coming soon!) Ezra "EZ" was cutting my husband's hair and also handed him a beer. They have a nice waiting area with a pool table and I got to play a little Madden while I waited too nice and clean art pieces on the wall too. Love going to this barbershop. Hands down one of the best I have gone to. Frankie looks out for my hair and is very attentive on making sure he does his best work. Always a great conversation and the most respectful environment. This shop is always clean and and always a pleasure to go to. Frankie is always talking about what hair products are best on the market as well as knowing the newest styles. I don't see my self going anywhere else.
