Been coming here since moving to Corona and had trouble finding a steady shop but once I met Angel this place became THE SPOT for my boys and I. We came here after a barber at the ranch totally butchered my son's haircut. We asked for a simple fade and lineup and they couldn't get it right. We came here to get it fixed and all I could say is WOW.. Drip el barbero absolutely sauced up my son. We have been getting fades for our kids in Orange County and was looking for a new barber. Super frustrated with my experience here. I called yesterday and booked an appointment. He told me 2pm today. I showed up with my kid ready for a haircut and they said that they didn't have me down for an appointment. The guy who I spoke to didn't take my name or tell me who the appointment was with. But I expected to have an appointment because I was told to come at 2pm. It was going to be 30+ minutes to wait with my kids, and that's the reason I booked an appointment...so that I didn't have to make them wait. DO NOT GO HERE! This was the most unprofessional business I have ever been to. I came to my appointment 10 minutes early and realized it was cash only business so I told this worker (Duke) that I will be back to go grab cash from the back, he says ok your stylist (Mayra) is running 10 minutes late anyways. He also NEVER mentioned to say "oh yes we have an ATM here" so I go and come back with cash. I come back within 10 minutes and after waiting for 40 minutes asking Duke, once again, about my appointment had the audacity to say "we took a walk-in because I didn't know when you're coming back. Time is money and I have to take in walk ins plus your husband who has come here before knew this was a cash only and it was his fault for not telling you" He was not only rude but beyond aggressive. The sad part is his fellow colleagues said nothing to him. Duke was blatantly a sexist because he too busy mansplaining and didn't like the fact that I was asking him why I had to wait. I walked out with my two little ones and told him thank you but we will never be coming here again. He didn't give a damn of course. I reached out to the owner to submit a formal complaint - based on their practice I am not expecting an answer. I will be reporting them to Business Bureau and every review platform there is. I wouldn't be surprised if Duke replies to this review with his defensive and abrasive way - that is just the kind of business this is. The way this guy treated me was so hurtful and demeaning and I cried walking out of this place. This was where I brought my 4 year for the last 2 years (My husband always took him) and to hear my little one say mommy "why are we leaving I like it here" I had to explain to him that we will not be coming here again because the man was not a very nice person.
