Very disappointing experience with Rick. I waited over an hour with my two boys to get haircuts. When it was finally my oldest son's turn, Rick started the haircut. I asked him to start with a zero and explained that if my son wanted it shorter, he might want to go with a skin fade. I was honestly shocked when Rick told me that going from a zero to a skin fade would cost double the price. I've never experienced a barber charging double simply because the customer wants the hair cut shorter. I understand charging extra for certain services, but doubling the price for this was completely unexpected and, in my opinion, unreasonable. After waiting over an hour, this was definitely not the experience I expected. Unfortunately, they lost three haircuts today--mine and my two boys--and they will not be getting our business in the future. Very disappointed with the experience, especially after such a long wait. I had a appointment with marlan Barber at American barber in corona. My appointment was 11am today Thursday 7/2/26 I arrived at 10:45 am Sat in seating area for 1 hour. I became irritated when no one asked me if I had a appointment after another customer walked in and asked for marian..a barber said he called in and wasn't going to work. I got upset a confronted the barber and asked him why he allowed me to sit for over an hour and not tell me marian wasn't showing up.. I went in for a haircut 8/5/26. Jay cut my hair. Next to him was Ed, another barber. As I sat down, they were engaged in a heated conversation about something Ed bought that Jay wanted to buy from him. They traded multiple expletives back and forth, making me uncomfortable. A few times, Jay stopped working on my hair to talk to Ed or show him something on his phone related to their discussion. Jay was obviously distracted and as a result, did not cut my hair the way I had requested. They both acted very unprofessionally and seemed to not care about their customers (Ed was cutting someone's hair while talking to Jay the whole time, stopping periodically to focus on his conversation). I am a repeat customer, but I won't be going back. read more

Been coming here since moving to Corona and had trouble finding a steady shop but once I met Angel this place became THE SPOT for my boys and I. We leave looking fresh, he never fails and my boys always receive compliments on their haircuts during sports. Not to mention the environment is what's also great. I'm pretty picky with my barbershop and barbers, but this barbershops environment and atmosphere is really nice, all the barbers at this location are very kind and are very courteous and asking customers if they need water the hospitality is amazing, my favorite barber at that location has to be elbarberdrip the legend angel himself, he never disappoints in my cuts always remembers me and knows what I need, it's to the point where I don't even need to look in the mirror at the end of it because I already know angel always gets the cut precise, I'd recommend it to everyone read more

We came here after a barber at the ranch totally butchered my son's haircut. We asked for a simple fade and lineup and they couldn't get it right. We came here to get it fixed and all I could say is WOW.. Drip el barbero absolutely sauced up my son. We have been getting fades for our kids in Orange County and was looking for a new barber. Super frustrated with my experience here. I called yesterday and booked an appointment. He told me 2pm today. I showed up with my kid ready for a haircut and they said that they didn't have me down for an appointment. The guy who I spoke to didn't take my name or tell me who the appointment was with. But I expected to have an appointment because I was told to come at 2pm. It was going to be 30+ minutes to wait with my kids, and that's the reason I booked an appointment...so that I didn't have to make them wait.
