Let's not forget the wanna be stars who are getting their picture taken (thinking someone is going to jump out of the bushes and offer them a Hollywood Contract ) ohh and the photographer acting like the area is their studio. It's a Public Park! Next we come to joggers both men and women running half naked through the park , looking for attention ,Then you got these female runners Flirting and trying to hookup with anyone mostly the men, to try and sell their Only Fans content, All in all the parks needs to have more rules about this type of behaviors ,make it a nice park again

If you live locally it may be worthwhile but the drive for me was such a waste of my time for what this was. Ready? It's a: Big Wooden Castle Yep, that's it, folks. A gigantic version of that swingset-clubhouse combo you bought at Costco only to rot in your backyard because spiders and rain made it so unpleasant for kids that they refuse to use it. It's that creepy clubhouse times 30! It's pretty much a regular playground with most kids swarming the swings and other play features with a few venturing into the old wood play structure. They go in once and don't go back in again. My son was cursed at by older boys who appeared beyond the age guidelines (and I was surprised to see them still interested in a playground). In the myopic darkness of the castle, my son banged his head when inside the dank structure there was suddenly an unmarked (unlit) drastic change in ceiling height. Needless to say this experience was a turn off. Most kids really preferred being out in daylight because the castle felt more like a dungeon. It was fun to see friends and we enjoyed the togetherness of the play date but unless I'm in the area and desperate for a kid distraction, I won't be back.

Came here on Sat 10/25 to hike with a couple gf's and brought my doggo, Linc, since it's a dog…read morefriendly trail. I work out but I wasn't ready for this trail as a first time hiker lol! I wore sneakers but would have greatly benefited from hiking boots for more ankle support after slipping and tripping my way along the dense leaf covered dirt trail that continued to get more rocky on the ascent. Also, you will need to climb some legit large rocks/boulders to reach the Pulpit Rock overlook but the challenge was well worth it for the views! My gf's & I chose the easy way down which was to take the gravel road alongside the observatory that eventually transitions to pavement. Even the decline of this road was steep in itself. No easy way up or down haha! I saw people of all ages and fitness levels along my hike and plenty of cute dogs! Bring snacks and water to re-energize during a rest break. My one friend packed some TP and I thought it was a great idea cuz you just never know when you might have to go! Parking lot is a joke with ~20-25 spots but many ppl, including us, parked along Reservoir Rd so make sure to get here early in the morning or expect to walk a couple extra miles just to reach the start of the trail.

Great spot for a day hike, with beautiful views at the two main lookouts - Pulpit Rock and the…read morePinnacle. The hardest part of the hike is getting to Pulpit Rock, as it starts with a fairly steep road to get to the trail, and then some more elevation climb as you get up to the lookout. From there, it's probably another 2.5 miles or so to get to the Pinnacle, but the elevation gain is minimal. Both of these stops provide great views, with lots of raptors flying around if you're lucky! Bring snacks and water, especially on a hot day, and cameras to take pictures!

Gave an excellent show for about an hour and a half. Nice large park not a bad seat anywhere. Very family friendly. A lot of families with from babies on up to preteens. Couple of the dads were playing catch with their toddlers off to the side. Great place to have the kids and get up and run around. They're not bothering anybody. You can bring in your own snacks and nonalcoholic beverages. It's all free. Bathrooms are easily accessible. They had two extra porta-johns as well as the already established restroom building, which was very clean by the way. Lots of parking, handicap accessible. They had closer parking for those that needed it. It's relatively easy to get in and out of the park there is a traffic light. Traffic does back up a bit but it's not too bad. We had a great time just sitting and listening to music and enjoying the weather. If you have a chance, check out Longs Park for their free summer concert series.

This is an 80 acre park located in Lancaster featuring an amphitheater that has been playing music…read morefor 60 years. Park also features a playground, tennis court, water and more. It's a great place to linger on a nice day. We got to enjoy their summer concert series on a Sunday. This is a very busy park so come early to grab a parking spot. During concerts you can grab food from mobile venues to enjoy throughout the concert. So bring a chair or blanket and enjoy a relaxing night of music. Worth a visit!

We go to this park regularly to play disc golf. There is a nice course with good variety - uphill,…read moredownhill, open fields, woods. Since a lot of it is rather open, I prefer not to go midday when the sun is beating down. Note that there are a LOT of steep hills, in case that's a problem for anyone in your party. There is also a nice playground, pavilions to rent, some of which are very nice, and tennis courts. The public bathroom is small and not amazing, but it's always been open when the park is open, and has the necessities.

We were talking to other vendors, apparently its $80 ?!???? for a spot that looked very very small, greedy priced. To get a spot at JAKES FLEA MARKET is only $12 for 1 day AND they give you a table ! I saw one of the lemonade stand people, A HUGE lady was smoking a cigarette and didn't wash there hands after smoking and returning to cut the lemons, GROSS, DISGUSTING, That is not an example of how to run a beverage business, YET I bet they want other venders to follow the rules when THEY DON'T. When I saw that I threw our cup away. The water tasted to me like spicket water with a funny after taste like pottstown water, not even purified water that has been treated to drink. Just seemed to be the lazy way of making lemonade. Just BLAH. The tasting cards made zero sense, seemed like another way to make people to spend cash on something they didn't need to spend cash on, that was a ridiculous idea and I seen it limited alot of people. There was a marketing company vendor, she was very rude, she was trying to get people to give there info, I can't believe the Unthoroughness, the incompetence, of the owners for even letting a marketing Pyramid scheme to be a vendor, WOW.
