Then proceeded to tell him it would be 1,400$ just for cleaning even though i was told they accepted his medicaid. Ridiculous he had to miss work just to be talked to and pay $30 for nothing. Stay clear of this dentist unless you have money obviously ‍‍

Date of Service on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. I wanted to find a DENTAL PRACTICE that specializes in DENTURE CARE for my husband. During his visit, what happened -- The DENTAL ASSISTANT an UPPER SOFT LINER was placed incorrectly, causing significant discomfort and will require additional treatment from another dental provider. Despite him knowing , he can return for follow-up, he has lost trust to ever go into that environment, because he feels the issue will not get resolved, he feels very uncomfortable to ever go there. This has since incurred additional expenses to have to correct the problem. This experience has caused HIM ongoing pain, to his upper dentures, he did not have prior. The dental assistant did not know what she was doing. When she put in the UPPER SOFT LINER, she did not fully cover his upper dentures with the liner, there are gaps in it, he cannot eat comfortable, causing food sticking to the SOFT LINER. He believes the treatment he received did not meet the standard of care he expected from Aspen Dental. A week later the SOFT LINER seems to dissolve and deteriorate in a short amount of time having it. What is worse to add more pain to this horrible ordeal, it is hard to get my husband to go to a DENTIST. I was searching for a local DENTIST, TO PROVIDE QUALITY CARE AND TREATMENTS in DENTURES, that specializes in care for his UPPER DENTURE, near his work place, which would be convenient for him. The very fist visit was on Friday, July 24, 2026, for both of us. The visit was suppose to be a consultation for them to check our mouths with xrays, explain the cost. They are known for a long extensive wait time, knowing we were already scheduled. My husbands appointment was @ 9:30 mine was @ 10.30. We both had to wait a long time before they put us in a room. We did get our Xrays and was left alone after that for a long time. We both let it be known we need to be going, we had other appointments, it took them over 3 hours just to do minimal task. Oh gosh, we trusted them to see my husband after that on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, to place a SOFT LINER IN HIS UPPER DENTURE. He is so disappointed in the bad treatment. I myself, his wife, I immediately cancelled my Scaling Cleaning I set in October 2026 coming. No way do I trust them, after the horrible treatment they did to my Husbands, upper dentures with the soft liner. When my husband let me know how BAD THE UPPER SOFT LINER WAS, I did call them 2-days later on Saturday, July 25, 2026, left multiple messages in their voice mail from 8am to 12pm, it showed on their website they were open. No one answered and they have not returned my call, so that I can let them know, and ask for a REFUND of $156.00. We both do not feel comfortable to ever go there. They have scheduling issues, we arrive on time with alongside long wait times. Hugh Complaint: unresponsive phone lines, unreturned messages. I have also sent them an email about this Issue to customerservice@aspendental.com. Still no one has responded back. It is so SAD AND DISAPPOINTING, giving the TRUST TO ASPEN DENTAL in Burlington NC. Thinking they would provide quality DENTURE CARE to my husband. Based on our research, we have read Complaints regarding deceptive practices, aggressive upselling, and issues surrounding denture care are a widespread concern with corporate dental chains like Aspen Dental.

He'd been putting off going to our regular dentist in Gibsonville - some history on her first - because a couple of years ago that dentist began telling me she wanted to drill out my old fillings and redo them because she 'didn't like the way they looked". She did this on one of my old fillings at that time and that same tooth cracked shortly afterwards while I was eating granola and I had to get a crown. In my opinion I believe she was just trying to find a way to spend our money. The last time I went to her (after the aforementioned crown) she wanted to do another old filling and I said No, the tooth is not bothering me so leave it alone. Neither myself nor my husband have been back to her since. With that being said - fast forward to about a week ago and my husband's tooth was really bothering him. We have dental insurance so I went online to see who accepted it locally. Found Anne Elizabeth Dentistry and so glad we did!! We were driving by and went in to make an appointment and they were able to work him in that day, which was nice because he had to go out of town the day after. Everyone at the office was extremely pleasant, courteous and professional! When he came out, my husband said the dentist (Cohbram I believe was her name) was really nice. They discovered he needed a root canal and recommended Dr, Jepko (who I have seen before and is hands down the best Dr for this procedure!!) do that procedure and then he;d come back to them for a crown. The dentist also prescribed an antibiotic for some inflammation he had around the root. Husband had the root canal about 5 days ago and now we'll be scheduling the crown with Anne Elizabeth Dentistry. I will also be switching to them as well because I was very impressed with everyone in the office. Not sure why they had so many bad reviews, but I notice those were years ago and maybe they are so awesome now because there are new employees. If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend them! :)
