SCAM!! Maplewood claims 20 years experience and hundreds of good reviews. BBB had never heard of them and claims they are not even licensed or registered and they have no office-work from home. I hired them to support a small sag in floor. THEY DID NOT FIX. In their lame attempt to remedy from top of floor they ruined existing vinyl floor. I had to pay them to replace while they damaged my baseboards. Their floor is cracking, separating and chunks falling out in multiple places. I have to pay someone capable to repair their damage. Their website claim "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" is b. s. They do not answer BBB or my attys. letters. read more

The BEST! We hired Martin to refinish our floors in our home and he has been the best contractor we have ever worked with. He is very knowledgeable and cares for quality of quick service. He has been very accommodating and thoughtful during the process as we had to more all of our belongings to one side of the house while 1/2 of the house is done then we will rotate to the other 1/2 of the house. Always shows up on time with a friendly good morning! And the floors look GREAT! He was also very understanding when I didn't like the stain I had originally picked and seamlessly added in the time to redo it for a very reasonable cost. He also proved very trustworthy, we had originally had our service planned in November but he had a health issue that set him back and required a healing period. Martin and his crew were able to install vinyl flooring in three units (6 bedrooms total) very quickly and with skill. They were able to tear out the old carpet and pad and fix the slab where there were issues with unevenness. This also involved removing/replacing the baseboard since the height of floor changed. There were also some innovative ideas to take care of transitions between vinyl and tile that matched the installed flooring very well. All of this was done at a competitive price and with accommodations for our timeline. I appreciate the professionalism and the quality of work. I requested a quote for repair to engineered hardwood floor that had water damage in a 10x14 room. He was responsive and I got a good vibe. We set an appointment and he came on time. He saw the job, quoted it, and completed the job within an hour. Basically he saw he needed to pull apart half of the room and replace four damaged boards.
