I could not believe that someone who works with dogs would do that! He took one look at our boys + said NO, we were not welcome. Our dogs are mixed breed, + one of those breeds is pit bull. We told him that our boys are super sweet, not aggressive at all, + he told us that we don't understand pit bulls. I understand that there are aggressive pit bulls in the world; however, ANY dog can be aggressive under the right circumstances. Nowhere on the website does it list which breeds are not allowed, so we didn't know. Huge waste of everyone's time + energy. Overall, Wayne was very rude + unprofessional. Definitely would not pay the exorbitant prices of a membership here - IF your dogs are even accepted into the park!

If you happen to throw a ball over the fence, there is a back gate so you don't have a walk all the way around. Things I would change: Park is closed from late March-June. My pups are sad when they don't have a place to run, especially when it's the nicest part of the year; I feel guilty that I'm not able to be a volunteer (I work on weekends) since they ask for a lot of help from members; people who have come since it opened can be a bit cliquey, however I have met a lot of new members like me. But- parking... Brentwood Parks And Recreation needs to align with the city to help with signage for parking. The lot is not large enough (maybe 60 spaces not positive) to have two directions. Even with it being clear to many that the natural flow was counterclockwise, a few felt the need to go against the natural flow. Then the streets around the park were full causing the streets capable of only allowing for a single lane of traffic. Even with a clear flow and literally no room for cars traveling in opposite directions... some attempted to push in, causing longer stand stills. It's like trying to go to the zoo/forest park on the weekends. But the park itself is fun!!! I do wish there was more shaded areas within the park itself. Parking needs to be fixed... there is no way an emergency vehicle could have gotten in to help if help was needed. That is a big concern.

It was busy and parking was tight. There are so much things for kids to do here.
