Dog Park Review: Small dog area as well as large dog area Decent size with tons of stray balls everywhere which I appreciate. It's does seem a little unloved by the city. The grass and weeds are overgrown. There were serious muddy spots and it hasn't rained in a few days. I would definitely come here again in the evening when a few more dogs are here.

The Pool. Further to the right is a child's area to play and there is a tube outside that spits you out inside. :)

HUGE pool and kid friendly. It is new and a nice atmosphere. I was amazed at how big this place is! There is adequate weight area, nothing huge. They still had television screens hanging from the ceiling. Younger people in that area. A lot of older people around also. It is a relaxing and friendly place. There is a running track around the top of the gym that anyone can go there for free. PRICE: Out of district membership for a year and for 2 people it was just a little over 220. So cheap! I am not from that area but I go there to go to a wonderful Tai Chi class. The instructor they have for Tai Chi and Yoga is a guy that is not only really nice, making you feel really comfortable but is a great teacher. He is patient with the young and the old. :) So hard to find a good teacher that doesn't take themselves so serious that they can not laugh at themselves and yet focused on his profession.

Ideal for younger kids. My 9y/o was bored. There is no deep end or diving board, and the big slide was broken.

Great place to run, ride, or take your dog. Beautiful scenery around the path and no cars to deal with.

Yes, it has trails, but they are chopping, and boring and not very long. This is a small park and a great place to go if you are looking to say, have a picnic, read a book, or just lounge around....that's what it is. It's a neighborhood park. Go here to play frisbee, not to take in a nice long run. They have two pavilions you can rent, which is nice for family picnics and get togethers. All in all, nothing special, just a park. It's well maintained and there's a ton of grass, which is great for nice days and laying around. Otherwise, parks like this are a dime a dozen. Not that we should get rid of them. Keep the parks, make more of them in fact. If every neighborhood had little parks like this, the world would be a much nicer place.
