I have had conchas a thousand times before, but this one actually had a filling, and it was quite delicious. The service here this morning was a little dissappointing. There were two young employees, male and female, working behind the counter and neither of them seemed interested in helping me. The female was glued to her cellphone, and the male didn't want to move at all. I had to ask him three times if he could come over and help me. I realize that they are both young, but I would think that this place would be better served with more motivated employees, who actually care about helping customers.

The display case held a variety of cakes and pastries, all beautiful and tempting. Being a tourist with limited time in CDMX I asked Ana Victoria for sightseeing, souvenir buying and eating tips. She provided a wealth of suggestions; my favorite tip from her was the weekend buffet at El Gallo de Oro a cantina/restaurant in the historic center.
