We call and Mike comes out but can't find anything wrong, so he tells us to get a lower wattage hair dryer (specifically 1500 watts) which we do. The very next day we have the same issue. We call again but he has no solution. Five minutes later he calls again and tries to fruitlessly explain that the 1500 watt dryer he told us to buy might also trip the breaker. Now I'm begging him for options. Mind you we've been in this house for 34 years and this was never an issue. Finally, he suggests putting the bathroom on a separate circuit. I tell him fine, whatever it takes. The next morning his wife (who I now know is the real boss, unhinged as she is) calls to inform us that we aren't a 'good fit' as their customers and that we should hire someone else and that my wife should dry her hair in another room in the house! DO NOT expect anything more than an 'It's not my problem anymore' attitude once they've gotten their payment and surely don't hire them for anything more complicated than changing an outlet.

C.J.'s just installed an amazing boiler (uses oil) in my home. We had called them for service on…read morethe existing 22 + yr. system and found that it was unsafe-ready to start a fire and giving off dangerous carbon monoxide fumes. The new system was not your average installation, my home is about 4000 sq ft., has radiant heat all throughout the first floor under tile and hardwood, a large water heater (previously run on electricity), and an air handler on the second floor that is used for AC and heating. The installation took several days with some major re-piping. The C.J.'s crew worked tirelessly, overcoming some challenges and making sure that the new system was perfect. Here are the main takeaways from my experience that are not usually found in other HVAC companies: C.J.'s embodies the true meaning of INTEGRITY, STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE, SINCERE HARD WORK, and FAIR PRICES! I was introduced to Vincent during my Walk-through July 2026. His Stickers were on my HVAC Units…read moretoo in my home. AC was not working during my walkthrough. He opened up electric panel to "Leaf Blow Moss" out of the system. We knew they were older units and original, so I did not expect them to last much longer. After 3 Days, my 1st Floor Air was not Cooling. I asked Vincent to come check out our report of "No Cooling". I have spoken to Liberty HVAC in Garfield, NJ, Gold Medal, Fras Air, Plumbing Experts, and Service Experts, and ALL Professionals said a Report of No Cooling would have resulted in a Multitude of Checkpoints and Analysis. I honestly expected the guy to tell me my system was shot and needed replacement. But he did not, he proceeded to tell me "All it needed was Refrigerant.". I was so happy and grateful that was it. Happily paid the guy and thanked him. Mentioned to him, we have Home Warranties and Fras Air Service Plans, we 100% believe in them. Well Vincent said, "they're useless - just call whenever you need something, and he can check but those companies are not really needed, and he does not recommend.". 10 Days Later, Guess What! No Cooling again. I contacted Vincent at the 12 Day mark, due to being away/busy, and he was "Not available, away, Family Emergency, Family Emergency that turned Catastrophic" all per his text messages. We were patient and understanding but frustrated. I had Plumbing Experts come because we could not wait longer. Plumbing Experts said the Wires and Mechanicals had a Severe Rats Nest, Skeleton Bones, Chewed Through Wires, and that Refrigerant should never have been added or charged for. I paid Vincent Check, so I cannot contest the charge. But I want my funds back. I emailed several times with him regarding my experience and so forth, and yet still nothing. He said he was "not hired to do more than he did". I called him for "NO COOLING AND FROZEN LINE". I don't even know what he checked, but Plumbing Experts said he clearly did not check correctly or thoroughly before adding Refrigerant. 5lbs Added, and 5lbs gone in 12 Days. HMMM!!! He has only offered $150 back, and is refusing to reimburse fully. It was a wasted visit, assessment, diagnosis, and suggestion. I would not trust the work of this company, and maybe others have had positive experience, but this is mine. While it is a few hundred dollars, $625 to be exact, I WANT IT BACK! I was deceived, and that bothers me more than anything. I am a realtor, and former teacher. Consumers and families TRUST me when they hire me, and I did the same with Vincent and Double Edge. I am left wondering, why did he fail to fully check my No Cooling issue and Frozen Line? To make a quick few hundred dollars? Did he really even add the refrigerant? He did not show me pictures or invite us out there to see anything he was doing. He simply saw a quick adjustment of cool air, and said "all done, that was it.". The HVAC people I spoke to said even a little refrigerant would spike the cool air and improve. Maybe it was not working well sooner than my 12 Day communication, but I have 2 other zones in the house. I will be pursuing a formal complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs, Better Business Bureau, and Local Claims to pursue a Full Reimbursement for being deceived and not implementing Best Practice.

Buyer BEWARE...Buyer beware. Three years ago, this company installed four mini-split systems on our…read moreproperty, and our experience, is that all of them were installed incorrectly. I later confirmed with Mitsubishi that the company is not Mitsubishi Diamond Certified and does not appear in their authorized installer database. Unfortunately, I had ongoing issues from the start -- the systems often stopped working, sometimes monthly, and repairs never seemed to fully resolve the problems. At one point, they told me a Mitsubishi technician came to work on the unit, but Mitsubishi had no record of that service. The office staff was always professional and pleasant to deal with, but I felt the ownership was dismissive of my concerns and would not stand behind the work. Three independent contractors who have inspected the systems have told me they found unsafe spliced wiring. Early on, heir technician stated, filters were not installed in the house on installation, months went by with no filter and he stated he believed that could have caused damage to the coils, hence the problem. I never saw that technician again, and from that point forward, my service calls were handled by what seemed to be family members of the owners. I eventually stopped trying to get the systems fixed because I was paying for repeated service visits without seeing results. This has been a very frustrating and expensive experience for me.
