The school has a serious drug problem that they are not addressing. Kids are getting and using…read moredrugs on campus. The staff is aware where the kids are using drugs and campus and just keep saying they don't have enough staff to deal with it. They do nothing about retaliation or addressing the problem but they'll call you 10 times if your kid is incorrectly marked absent.

Special recognition goes to Mr. Lee, Mrs. Deeb, Mrs. Writh, Mrs. B, and Mr. Taylor, all who are SO kind, and make this school a better place for all! The school is also inclusive, offering programs and support for students with disabilities, making sure everyone fits in. While there is always room for improvement--such as fixing issues with bullying, phone usage, and discipline--the staff is present to create a safe and welcoming environment for all. One standout program at Cross Middle School is W.E.B. (Where Everybody Belongs) Leadership. W.E.B. Leaders are carefully trained to mentor incoming sixth graders and new students. After summer training, they organize the sixth grade Welcome Program during registration week. Each W.E.B. No lockers, no clubs, no bell ringing…read moreat the end of periods, Invest in the wrong things, small tables, no official coaches for teams. I was on the softball team and they just had the mechanic dude coach or it was the math teacher. They got the teachers doing too much. Plus some of the middle school teachers can't control their classes. Didn't even have electives until I was in eighth grade, and I went there recently. Wouldn't recommend tbh for a middle schooler. Maybe a elementary schooler but not middle school
