That cleaning in August 2025 was satisfactory, not outstanding but it's an old rental and was "good enough." This move out cleaning on August 2026 was neglectful and incomplete. Cobwebs and dust in windows and upper bathroom shelves, kitchen sink and tub (both porcelain) not whitened, stove top not only left sticky, but a degreaser was used that stripped paint from the control panel (where the gas control handles are mounted). I texted Defne who beyond replying to my question about what cleaning product was used, made no offer to make things right. I provided pictures of the damage. Her response - Defne: "I checked with the team, and they used a degreaser to properly remove the grease." No response to the pictures of damage, no offer of a compromise, or some small gesture such as a partial refund in good faith. And no apology. My rental deposit was dinged $75 by the owner to recoup their charges to complete the cleaning. They truly could have charged much more, but took mercy on me. The new tenants stayed in a motel the first night because the cobwebs and dust needed to be cleaned before moving in their possessions. Here's where I went wrong: I didn't check things over thoroughly due to exhaustion on moving day, the same day they cleaned. That was my responsibility and I was too tired to see that clearly. I paid $245 plus a $50 cash tip times two cleaners -- total $345 + $75 that the apartment owner deducted from my deposit. If the company makes good and refunds $75, I will repost and let you other consumers know. We're all human. We have some bad days and make mistakes. There is an opportunity to make this right. I'm sad to write a poor review and wish things had gone better. Will add photos when I figure out how to do that. They were not able to finish, and this was for a rental, so said they would return the morning of the day my first Airbnb guest arrived. I then received an invoice for $310. I called the owner to clarify and she said that they charge $130 for the first two hours and $30/hr per cleaner for every hour thereafter. I told her I was not made aware of that and asked that she come back for only one more hour the following day. Meanwhile, I found that the work completed was very obviously done poorly. There was a large mud stain on the tub, band-aids and stickers left on the floor which was not mopped, the wood stove untouched and covered in ashes, the rug was not vacuumed, the windows were not cleaned, and the house was not dusted. Luckily, I was able to find someone else to clean last minute for me and I cancelled the follow up cleaning with Afresh. I wrote Andrea from Afresh to let her know that I needed to pay a cleaner $150 for a complete and thorough job. Combined with the fact that she quoted me $130 and then charged me for hourly work I did not commit to, did not seem fair to me. I offered to deduct $150 from her invoice and pay her the difference to acknowledge the work her staff did complete. She sent me a long text about how she's praying for me followed by a text threatening to take me to court. My most generous interpretation of this incident is that Andrea forgot to quote me the full price and her staff was just not thorough. Unfortunately, I fear that this company quotes one price, works slowly to rack up a high hourly charge and then tries to intimidate customers into paying.

I was able to snag a basket, which I was looking for, and a little something else that I was just lucky to be in the right place, at the right time. After picking up the basket I did a quick search of their electronics. They were kind of scattered about and not really in a designated area. When I came across a VCR. I know, why did I want a VCR? Because, that's good enough. They actually had two here, but this one appeared to be in better shape. However, I had no way of testing it to see if it worked. There were no outlets nearby nor a television to hook it up to. So I took my chances and bought it for the $10 they had it marked. No remote, but no big deal there, that's what universal remotes are for. Staff at the register was pleasant to deal with. However, the bag was a little too big and I should have just said to forget the bag. Oh, yeah, the basket was decent too.

Well, I wasn't a client that was important enough to Mr. Green Solutions so he dropped my appointment for another client that had more precedence. I agreed, appreciatively, to reschedule late afternoon the day before my little guys surgery. A few hours before he was to arrive, he called and cancelled. This time not willing to reschedule until mid month. That doesn't work. This is not someone you want to work with. He is not reliable, professional, or trustworthy. I ended up having to scramble at the last minute to find a carpet cleaning service. If he runs late, it's your schedule that is negatively affected or your cleaning that gets cancelled. Since he can't manage his calendar and double books, new customers get dropped. It's one excuse after an other. Save yourself the frustration and book with a reliable carpet cleaning service.
