That cleaning in August 2025 was satisfactory, not outstanding but it's an old rental and was "good enough." This move out cleaning on August 2026 was neglectful and incomplete. Cobwebs and dust in windows and upper bathroom shelves, kitchen sink and tub (both porcelain) not whitened, stove top not only left sticky, but a degreaser was used that stripped paint from the control panel (where the gas control handles are mounted). I texted Defne who beyond replying to my question about what cleaning product was used, made no offer to make things right. I provided pictures of the damage. Her response - Defne: "I checked with the team, and they used a degreaser to properly remove the grease." No response to the pictures of damage, no offer of a compromise, or some small gesture such as a partial refund in good faith. And no apology. My rental deposit was dinged $75 by the owner to recoup their charges to complete the cleaning. They truly could have charged much more, but took mercy on me. The new tenants stayed in a motel the first night because the cobwebs and dust needed to be cleaned before moving in their possessions. Here's where I went wrong: I didn't check things over thoroughly due to exhaustion on moving day, the same day they cleaned. That was my responsibility and I was too tired to see that clearly. I paid $245 plus a $50 cash tip times two cleaners -- total $345 + $75 that the apartment owner deducted from my deposit. If the company makes good and refunds $75, I will repost and let you other consumers know. We're all human. We have some bad days and make mistakes. There is an opportunity to make this right. I'm sad to write a poor review and wish things had gone better. Will add photos when I figure out how to do that. Can't seem to post photos in the review, so posted in the business's photos at the top of the page - photos 35 thru 41.

I hired Star Cleaning to perform a spring cleaning of my home in May 2015, which was quoted to be, "Spring Cleaning $325 (Includes detailing work such as hand wiping baseboards, cobwebbing, washing of all floors and stairs, under furniture that we can get to, changing linens, wiping all door facing)". Although I was initially put off by such a high estimate, the owner put me at ease and assured me the job would be done right (please note that this quote DID NOT include washing the windows, which was an additional $165. When I returned home, the day of the 'cleaning' my kitchen floors had not been washed, none of the area rugs had been vacuumed, the baseboards and doors had not been wiped, and there were several tables that had not been cleaned or dusted. The mantle was not dusted, the linens were put onto the bed inside out, bathroom floors were not mopped, and the house in general was still dirty. Let me add to this review that I clean my house thoroughly each week, so other than the biannual cleaning doors, wiping fan blades, and the weekly 'once over' cleaning, there wasn't a boatload of work to be done. I spoke to the owner, sent the same pictures I've uploaded here, and was told that the service I received was representative of the 'cleaning' that is done for the low cost of $195, which is what she is now expecting to be paid despite the fact that I had to re-clean my entire house the same evening. I could write more, but you get the point by now. I am more than disappointed and urge you to do business elsewhere.
