It seems this location appeared out of nowhere from the time the demolition of the old structure on the property was completed until the opening happened was incredibly fast. I always welcome competition when it comes to fueling options so I stopped in today to fuel up the Jeep with high-test 93 Octane, today's fuel prices fluctuate so fast I think $3.709 a gallon is competitive - the pumps are ultra modern, they have incorporated the latest in technology hopefully this includes some advanced security measures to protect my credit card information. I haven't gone inside yet so I can't comment on the staff but from the outside it's looks pretty spiffy and new car clean which is a welcoming change from some of the other retail gas locations in the immediate area. The entrance and exit south bound is easy but I was surprised to see the exit onto Park Avenue is a right turn only which is weird and inconvenient but I understand the challenge so I'm okay with them putting safety first...

The pumps were clean and high-tech in my opinion. They were the nice gas pumps with the TV that keeps one entertained during ones brief visit. The inside store and bathroom was clean for gas station standards. There is a good selection of products that they sell as well. Plus, they sell lotto tickets and scratch offs. This is the place to go in Edgewater for any of your gaseous needs.

When we stopped, I would go in and get some sammies, snacks, and soda while hubs filled up the car with gas and took our dog for a walk. This Wawa location is usually busy but not in the obnoxious way. Oddly enough, there is another location really close by lol. We always stopped at this one because it is closest to 95. There is usually plenty of parking outside and you will rarely wait to pump gas. The store and restrooms are usually clean and tidy. The staff are usually pleasant as well. From all the food I purchased here, there was never an issue from what I can remember. I have both ordered food from kiosk and picked up hot items at the register, the refrigerators, and also have bought coffee almost every time visiting here.

They had visited one in San Antonio, but reveled in the more massive scale that the Daytona location offers. I kind of went crazy myself, buying way more than intended. It's easy to do. From so many tempting food items, snacks, apparel to housewares, things can really get out of hand spending-wise. I can rationalize a lot of it though, because individual items, for the most part, are priced reasonably. This time I grabbed a Brisket & Egg Taco. That brisket is amazing! Enjoyed having it without any BBQ sauce slathered on so I could purely appreciate the meat's glorious fatty flavor. Their tortillas are made fresh at a devoted station. Everything is well-maintained from the restrooms to merchandise displays. My cashier was another bright spot. She engaged me in conversation and made me feel valued as a customer. The only thing I don't love is getting through the parking out. I am always able to park, but with all the traffic it's rather hectic.

The place was bustling with activity, like a crowded flea market. First, I was met with the sight of people standing in line purchasing tobacco products. A few inches down, there were men's apparel and Buc-ee's souvenirs on one side, and women's apparel and other merchandise on the other. When you get to the middle of the store, you're faced with a large selection of jerky in a variety of flavors, bakery items, fudge bars, and other quick bites. You can actually see employees making fresh tortillas and slicing and chopping brisket for the sandwiches. Towards the back of the store are organized aisles, setup like a convenience store stocked with packaged nuts, jerky, snacks, candy, and much more. The women's bathroom was large and clean, with adequate stalls that have lights above the doors to indicate vacancy. Outside was an enormous gas station with more than 20 pumps, and across from it was the large car wash. I have no idea how to categorize Buc-ee's, but it seems to be a one-stop shop for all your travel needs.
