Excellent Tuna sub. Outstanding Italian sub. Competes very well with Jersey Mike's. Which is a compliment, especially since WaWa is about half as expensive as Jersey Mikes. Jersey Mike's a little larger, tho. Recommend Wawa Both places superior. read more

(1/16/2024) brought my octogenarian mlm to see what the fuss was about the Wawa MTO sandwiches. It was a little overwhelming, but finally chose 2 specialty sandwiches for ease of ordering. The customizable options were just too much. We got a Cuban Panini and a Rustic Italian Ciabatta. They were hot and pretty close representations of their photos. Cuban was more like a pulled pork sandwich with pickles. The warm Italian was surprisingly pretty good, salty as expected, on some crusty and chewy bread. Def reasonably priced. It was busy at lunchtime, seems a popular spot. read more

Everything is always great at this Wawa. Friendly service every time I go in. Always a smile and a hello. Need a soft pretzel this is the closest your going to get to a Philly pretzel. I can't forget the Herr's potato chips and the Tastykakes. One of my top favorite is Peanut Chews, love them and this is where I can them here in Florida. Here in Florida they call Hoagies, Subs but I'm a Hoagie girl. read more

Wawa has certainly expanded its presence throughout Florida and that is certainly good news for Floridians, but for Floridians who relocated here from eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, it was bringing a piece of home down here to the Sunshine State. Wawa is so much more than a simple gas station. Yes, it features a multitude of gas pumps offering competitive prices and I applaud them for offering air for your tires from an air pump that does not require a payment. Should be common sense, but most gas stations have decided that they can generate a few more dollars by charging people to put air in their tires. Wawa goes above and beyond in customer service by letting people get air without a surcharge. But for me and I would hazard a guess that endears Wawa to most of us is the food that they offer, mostly their subs (what they call hoagies due to their original locations). These subs, er, hoagies are freshly made 24/7 and many, myself included, have ended an evening festivities at a Wawa grabbing an end of the night snack in the form of one of their subs, hoagies, or whatever you want to call them. They have both hot and cold sub/hoagie things, as well as other foods like breakfast sandwiches, bagels, bowls, etc. I also have always liked their pretzels, available at the cash registers. Oh, speaking of their food, keep an eye out for Hoagiefest, where they offer any sub at a discounted price. Truly a good deal. So, yes, I recommend Wawa. I would almost climb a mountain to scream its praises for the four winds to carry to the far planets of this world (perhaps even going so far as to reach my home state of New Jersey). OMG, y'all know Wawa was born in Philly, right? Well, this Philly girl was sooo excited to pee at a Wawa in FL!!! Also got gas of course, because my car loves Wawa gas! I do have to say this was a fancy Wawa. All kinds of bistro outdoor seating, designated curbside pick up parking spots (I have seen those only once at home, at the dozens of Wawas near me). Everyone was enjoying this place; people stopping for snacks, hanging in cars to eat, getting gas, some ladies all dressed up formal were stopping for cigarettes. LOL! It's the hotspot in town! I drove from the GA border, all the way to West Palm Beach, and back, and saw so many Wawas. I HAD to finally stop when my car needed gas. Wawa is spreading all over FL! Go Wawa! It's a standard Wawa - many northerners swear by it and I began seeing it years ago too when they expanded into Florida. They have amazing coffee, hot items, and refrigerated items. The bathrooms are clean and the service is great. Overall a great service station. read more

I decided to go to wawa at approximately 5:20PM on a sunday evening and i see a sign on the door saying they are closed due to a "power outage", there was a lady vacuuming the entrance who told me it would be "20 minutes". I found it weird the "power was out" yet she could still use a vacuum, and every light was on, including machines and computers. the gas pumps were also on but were taped off. but i still sat in the truck and waited 20 minutes even longer, and still, nothing. so i left. this wawa sucks. expect for the night, they'll probably open back up sometime later, but i wont go. read more

For a fast including a ton of hot and cold drinks, you can't beat Wawas of New Smyrna Beach. The selection of soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees are enormous. Unbelievable for a gas station! Outside seating. Love it!!! read more

Best sandwiches ever!!!! So I have to give it a five!! At this location, the cashiers are mostly odd and not at all accommodating. The male older manager and the old lady cashier are often just rude and never smile. I know it's tough to deal with the public but if you try to have some fun or at least be kind and crack a smile, your day will go a lot faster and smoother. I honestly think they need customer service training. Giving this feedback in hopes someone can assist them, cuz we love Wawa and we see people walk away disgusted with those two. So I live in KCMO, and people who come from FL say I have to try Wawas, and thinking to myself.."it's just a gas station, and no one is better than our QuickTrip!" Well I was wrong, I admit it. Not only is this place clean and large, it has tons of variety and options to choose from! They also have a deli section that is vast in the different delicious lunch items. A quick stop here before hitting the highway is sometimes always warranted. It's important to fuel up and grab necessary snacks and refreshments for the road before entering I-95 and this Wawa location serves its purpose wonderfully. They have plenty of variety throughout their aisles and I discovered Andy Capp's Cheddar Fries chips here and as now a big fan. Plenty of economically-priced refreshments line their coolers and the variety is never ending. They even had mozzarella sticks at the checkout lane with Ken's marinara sauce sold separately as the perfect checkout snack item I didn't even know I wanted nor needed. Going to have to say I have been addicted to WaWa for over like 15 years. My first experience was in Dover, DE while i was there for some training for 6 months. Every chance I get to one, you will see me going. the sandwiches are the best. i mean 24/7 Deli/mart. The coffee and blended drinks are amazing! the SHAKES!!!! OMFG (yeah, I said it.) Unfortunately this one didn't get 5 stars because they messed up on 2 of my sandwiches and then forgot to put the strawberries in my Strawberry Cheesecake shake. Was unaware of this until I got back to the resort. :( All that aside this place still hasbest sandwiches and on yeah ********************FREE AIR******************************8 i support all gas stations that provide free air.. I went to the WAWA @ approximately 10:40pm to use the free coffee coupon, and once I arrived, I lost connection, then it wanted me to connect to xfinity, which I don't have since I don't waste money on garbage I don't use. Then it wouldn't go back and left the WAWA app completely, thus LOSING MY COUPON. So, to recap, I wasted, gas, time, effort, and a coupon, and didn't get my free coffee. VERY UNSATISIFIED CUSTOMER. 29 Dec 2020 @ 0040 hours, same issues with getting close to the location and it disconnecting me, telling me to use xfinity, and losing the coupon, thus, deleting this worthless app. Especially since I sent a complaint from Customer Service and still haven't heard back in over a week. Also, FYI, Edgewater is not Xfinity friendly since it's not available in our area. read more

It's always a welcoming sight when a new business opens up in your hometown. This is a beautiful Wawa location, it seems they just keep getting better and better with every new store opening. Besides providing a few new jobs in the community they bring in much needed competition which is good for everyone with a few exceptions, I guess, maybe I wouldn't be as thrill if I were the owner of one of the few existing service stations in the immediate area that has taken advantage of every opportunity to gouge the public with their high fuel prices or one of the convenience stores that sell the process food stuffs and thawed out stale sandwiches, but I'm not one of them so I'm happy to see Wawa finally arrive in NSB. I know I'm one of many that has anxiously waited for this location to open and there's no doubt things will be forever changed on the corner of Old Mission Road and Route 44 and the change is for the good in my opinion. I can't think of a better business to occupy a section of the old Kmart parking lot. read more

I generally like Wawa, but I'm irritated with the inability to buy gas with Apple Pay. The pumps say I can, but it won't work. Worse, when an assistant manager came out to "help" me, he had no idea what Apple Pay even was. Instructions are needed at the pump. Make it user friendly or don't offer it. read more

It's amazing how when there is nobody in the line they manage to mess up in order I ordered a small coffee dark one cream vanilla bean flavoring I got a small coffee too much cream and a bagel toasted with garden flavored cream cheese and I got regular cream cheese said plain right on the receipt I thought this was a pretty easy order for them not to mess up and that was today Monday It was around 1:00 in the afternoon there was hardly anybody in line I can't believe how they can mess it up I also think that if you don't drink coffee it shouldn't be working in these places how hard is it to make a cup of coffee read more

Wawa is a much needed service to NSB, the other two on SR44 have been using us for years, neither of them have product or employees with a very nice attitude, they act like it a privilege to you for having them to wait on you. I usually get the most amazing paninis from from this wawa a nice young man always helps and truly listens to their customers of this location. He always knows what I order and how I like my panini. I usually order (always) a tomato, Swiss cheese , salt, and pepper panini. Doesn't sound complicated at all does it? But usually his shift starts at 10pm and I had to go to bed earlier than usual so I stopped to get a panini and they over cooked cooked it to the point I could not even see any cheese only bread and to top it all I went up to the counter to remind her about the tomato and extra pepper and she was rude and told me to go pay and then she will assist me. I was waiting in a long line to pay so since they came up to me while I was in line asking me questions about the panini I thought maybe a reminder wouldn't hurt. I received the panini after paying and it was bread with over cooked cheese no pepper or salt nor the veggies. I then got her attention and said hey I think it's made wrong and she said in the most rudest sarcastic tone "well that's how we came it here" to end the story she just threw tomato on top of the sandwich and walked away.. all her coworkers were staring and looked at me like if they were sorry but no one said a word nor decided to just say I apologize for that. I was very surprised since I come here often. I tossed it out because I truly wanted to get home and understand some people have bad days but it was the attitude and the lack of communication in between coworkers. Don't think I'll be coming here again unless it's after 10pm when the nice young man starts his shift and in general After 10pm the customer service is a somewhat better. Ordered a sandwich and paid for it as well as gas this morning. After waiting for far too long and having multiple people that ordered after me get their food and leave, I had to leave without the sandwich in order to get to work and only be a few minutes late. When I called and asked the manager, Danny, why others got their food before I did, his response was "it depends on the machine that you ordered it on". What? So you have to play a game of chance in order to get the food you ordered in a timely manner? Don't order food here if time is an issue. Hope who ever ended up with my sandwich enjoyed it. I ordered a bowl and once I got back to my office nearby I noticed an ingredient was missing. So I went back to the store and brought the issue to the attention of the food staff. The food service manager, Devin, was apologetic and immediately replaced my bowl, happily. I was a little annoyed with the omission at first but Devin's attitude in replacing my entire bowl (not just adding the missing ingredient) was above and beyond. I was very pleased with his attitude and the service I received so I'm rating it 5 stars based on that. read more

Wawa NSB is about a year old now and is constantly busy. Having spent much time in Jersey and Philly (their base), I actually was anxious for this c-store to arrive. Yes, they are clean, the pumps are maintained, they have fair prices and no-alcohol gas.....but the kicker is that they make an excellent Italian hoagie on a good roll! Not family friendly... My toddler needed a diaper change and I needed gas. We stopped at wawa expecting clean facilities and a great experience. The place really is clean and I commented to my wife about how it's great seeing businesses develop gas stations professionally. Then we get to the restroom and not a single diaper changing station anywhereeee. I asked an employee and they said "you could maybe lay him on the floor". Yeah, right where folks pee. Let's try that. So. Nice gas station, clean, but not family friendly. I'm really amazed that a corporate location like this doesn't think of parents with small children during the design phase of a project. read more

Just like Lee said, the other stations on 44 are understaffed, and rude. Especially Murphy Express, which now that WaWa is here, I will never bother to visit again. I couldn't believe how many staff members are on registers at WaWa, which has 5 all together by the way, instead of just 2, and they have separate lines for lotto, gas and tobacco so no one is every just waiting for somebody cashing tickets all day. The fuel pumps are much more user friendly here too, and the LCD display is nice for a change instead of just a grey and black readout. read more
