This convenience store is at the corner of Memorial Highway and George Road which made it a…read moreconvenient stop on the way to the office. I did not have a need to go inside as this was just a quick pause in my commute to top off the rental car. The few gas pumps are diagonal to the store and kind of jammed in to the space. It's not exactly an easy fit but in the small rental car, I got it done. In my Sprinter van, I might have chosen to go elsewhere. The pump worked and the receipt printer printed. I did not have a need to go inside today. [Review 18978 overall - 1590 in Florida - 2502 of 2022.]

She ignored the half dozen or so customers as best as she could. I ordered a pizza. Admittedly a questionable decision but it was advertised outside the store. I actually only wanted the 2 slice special for like 2 bucks. How bad could it be, right? Even though there were minimal amounts of customers coming and going, the cashier couldn't keep up. Mostly because she was focused almost completely on her phone. There was a guy mopping the floor. He actually put down his mop and cane behind the counter because the cashier was so slow. Anyways, the special wasn't available. Understandable. The cashier grabbed my pizza, threw it into a box and threw it onto the counter, nowhere near me or near the counter area near me. She mumbled something. I walked over, grabbed my pizza and left. It was almost acceptable as convenience store pizza except it wasn't cooked evenly and a few slices were stuck to the top of the pizza box. The poor service combined with the sloppy preparation of the pizza was most disappointing.

This was an awful gas station. If you found yourself in the same predicament as me and wanting to…read moreget to the car rental return quickly and having the bad fortune to choose this option - you have my sympathies. There's really not much of anything redeeming I can say about this place except for the location. My criticisms include: 1) limited space / crowded 2) Cost - was at least 30 cents higher than other stations in the general area - add another 20 cents per gallon for the credit card surcharge (that is in no way indicated on the signage) 3) Reliability of equipment - barely readable and scratched screen, receipt button that didn't work, slow pumping, etc. If you happen to have time to read a review (unlikely I know but here's hoping), skip this place and try a Wawa down the street or something.

A quick search pointed me here, and while it's definitely not the least expensive option in the neighborhood, it's absolutely the most convenient. You can expect to pay an extra 20 to 25 cents per gallon for the location, a small premium that feels baked into anything this close to the airport. Swiping my credit card was easy enough and the pump started right away, though the receipt printer was out of service, which meant a quick walk inside to get a printed copy. Not the end of the world, just one of those small early morning inconveniences that you hope won't slow you down too much. At 5:45 am, the area is quiet in that slightly uneasy way that comes with being awake before most of the city, so it's worth staying aware of your surroundings since there just aren't many people around at that hour. Still, for a quick, practical fuel stop on the way to return a rental car, it gets the job done. [Review 150 of 2026 - 2257 in Florida - 25340 overall]
