Food is always okay-ish here. However recently it seems like there's been an uptick of homeless people hanging around outside the building and the gas pumps and the parking lot. They're always asking people for money. The staff NEED to call the police to trespass these people so they stop harassing customers. Just earlier today I was approached by some guy in his 50s feeding me a sob story to get some money to buy cigarettes. This is after he had already bothered a number of other people. If Wawa wants customers they've gotta cleanup the beggars out front breaking the law by soliciting. All the staff has to do is just call the police on them. Otherwise I'm not coming back for the foreseeable future. Additionally I stopped by to get gas and fill my tires with air. The gas pump I used had an issue where it would only continuously run if I held the handle at a specific angle. Neither of the air pumps worked, they were both broken and out of order. read more

Super clean and friendly Wawa. I got a grilled panini with pretty much every ingredient in it and it was absolutely delicious. It was just bursting with flavor and honestly kept me full for most of the day. I definitely recommend and would order this again. I also tried the chai matcha and it was a 10/10. Desperate for something to eat that was gluten free my husband suggested Wawa. I'm sorta thinking he's joking but I needed something quick and fast. Yes it's a gas station. Upon entering I ask the workers if there was anything gluten friendly on the menu. They look confused and I pretty much knew I was on my own. You can order espresso coffee drinks, sandwiches and soups from their self service kiosks. I stuck with a basic lettuce salad, yogurt and banana. Everything was self service. After putting in your order at the kiosk you take the receipt and pay at the self check out. It was really fast and everything tasted ok. I'm giving it a 3 star rating because it was very dirty. Spills everywhere and trash on the floor etc. It's a good place for a quick stop but again it's no Buc-ees ! read more

First let me say.. I love Wawa. I am from South Jersey, grew up on Wawa, now I live in Texas, so I don't get to go that often anymore. This Wawa was dirty- the floor, coffee station, even the register area. I wanted a shorti, but refused to get it because of the filth. Even the soda machine needed to be wiped down. If you are familiar with WaWa in the Northeast, you will be shocked by this location. I'm Pennsylvania, WaWa is legendary for their clean stores and great (for a convenience store) food. It has an absolute cult following and people commonly argue about which store is best. This location in Tampa is a whole other world. From a slopped together sandwich, to the empty large cup dispenser, to the overflowing trash can in the middle of the store, and the checkout clerk who is too busy talking to another employee to help you out, this place left a lot to be desired. This was just after 11 AM so it wasn't like it was just after a rush. Every gas pump was full and there were quite a few customers in the store, so I guess this isn't hurting business. read more

Great location on Dale Mabry near highway 275. Wawa is a good option for a quick stop for gas and coffee. Especially during the morning hours, it is easy to get a ham, veggie and cheese egg omelette sandwich and a hot cup of flavored coffee for less than $5. I would like to start by saying I'm disabled. I was hired when I wasn't living in Tampa just before the pandemic hit. My third day of training I walk in and they fire me saying it's because of Covid but in reality it's actually because I was disabled. You were disabled not very likely to get hired by Wawa or you'll get hired and then fired very very soon after Wawa is ablest and they are a horrible business that it's terrible. Before Wawa the only decent gas station in Tampa was 7-Eleven. Wawa is ten times better than any gas station in Tampa. Why you ask? The gas station is so much cleaner than any other gas station I have been to and they offer an excellent selection of food and coffee. The food isn't gourmet, but they offer healthy snacks that you can't find at other gas stations such as meat and cheese trays, fruit, and veggies. How many other gas stations sell produce? Other highlights of the gas station include the huge coffee station with over half a dozen different types of coffee blends, the smoothies, and the made to order sandwiches. (The Meatball Hoagie and the Philly Cheesesteak aren't the most authentic sandwiches, but they really hit the spot when you have the midnight munchies!) At the end of the day this is just a gas station, but it is one of the best gas stations I have been to. read more

I love Wawa, but this one is seriously filthy inside and out. It's only a few years old, but it shows an awful lot of wear and tear. Mostly, its just dirty. Everything from the floors to the restrooms especially is dirty. Shows a lack of attention to detail. Probably bad managment is my guess because other Wawas are not like this. I stopped using Racetrack because all their stores are too dirty. If the floors are this dirty, it makes me wonder if the food prep areas are just as dirty. My guess is they probably are. I wish I had a Wawa close to me. I love their cream cheese pretzels. Ahhh they are just delicious. Today I tried the Italian panini and it was very tasty. This is one of the busiest Wawa's your going to find in the Bay area. The set up and 3 entrance/exit's makes it easy to get in and out of without to long of a wait. The store is always clean but the staff dont see to be in any hurry to get their jobs done. Ive been inside plenty of times and saw staff pretending to rearrange things while the cash register lines back up. The "free air" station outside is always broken and Ive personally sat 8 cars deep in line waiting to get air, they would be wise to put a 2nd air station on the other side of the lot and do a better job of maintaining this one. read more

I like this Wawa for the shear convenience, value and pricing. Located along a somewhat busy strip of N. Dale Mabry in Tampa, it is convenient to where I live and travel. Plus, what bad is there to say about a gas station that has food and drink available for the time-pinched traveler? There are always available spots in the gasoline bays at this location and I never have to wait long for a pump when I'm in a rush. There is also a complimentary air fill station in addition to the standard paper towels (always stocked) and squeegee with window washing fluid containers. The convenience store itself has some great and varied items, everything from hot or cold breakfast and snacks like fresh fruit to malt beverages, beer, and specialty coffee drinks. I like their touch screen ordering system for their food and drink service area. I've never had a bad item here. I have also wanted to modify my item and I speak to the food service workers directly without issue. The staff are friendly and accommodating and want to help with and from my experience are willing to provide a great customer experience. That includes both hot or cold hoagies, and you can add in a soda and bag of chips and easily be out the door for under $10. Absolutely LOVE this place. I frequent here often, usually for coffee and gas. This location is the only one in town that I go to and is my top choice for gas as they always have competitive prices. Only downfall is that it can get crowded during peak hours for gas, so if you don't like waiting I recommend going during non peak hours to fill up. I love Wawa's coffee. I actually drink it more than Starbucks. My only complaint with this location is it seems like the workers stop attending to the coffee station after the morning peak hours. There have been a few times I have gone in the afternoon for coffee and the dispensers were empty. ALL of them, with no worker behind the counter to brew some more. This place is the Publix of gas stations. Not only can you get any sized coffee for $.59 (and I mean ANY size) but you can order fresh sandwiches there, withdraw money from an ATM without any penality(unless you get one from your bank), get gas and pick up some candy if it tickles your fancy.
