I decided to stop in here to fill up on food for the night and fuel for the next day's drive. It was a unique gas station experience to say the least. Here in the deep south an incredibly friendly guy of Middle Eastern descent is running one of the only places open. I filled up then went inside for the restrooms and to grab some food. He made great, interesting conversation about travels and life interests while I chowed on some delicious fried popcorn chicken. The bathrooms were clean and smelled nice with candles inside. There were even signs that were very adamant about cleaning up after yourself. After at least 30 minutes of good conversation, I grabbed a candy bar and a small souvenir item and headed out. Aside from the above, there is the usual here for a gas station. Cigs and alcohol, slushies, coffee, candy, chocolate, chips, drinks, etc. There's a microwave for anyone to use and even hot, cooked food available to order. Don't forget about the general knick-knacks and gift shop type items up for grabs. Would highly recommend this stop for gas and food while on your next trip.

Very convenient. To be honest, the dog park isn't always maintained the best. It's often a little too full of poop that hasn't been picked up. It's often out of poop bags. The garbage receptacle for the poop bags is often overflowing. But all in all, this is a good stop and I do stop here very frequently. I know I have a lot of pictures of my dogs at this stop. To my fam that means gas and packaged food only. I know it isn't pleasant cleaning bathrooms but the general rule is : if a bathroom is clean, it stays cleaner than if it is dirty. Dirty shows owners don't care and thus patrons tend to adopt same attitude and the bathroom gets worse much faster :-( Close to needing sign, not quite but close.

As I'm watching from the window I see The man working inside immediately take off to the back. When I see my kids standing around I walk in to see a sign hanging on both bathrooms saying "out of order". We hang out inside to confirm with the employee as my kids were about to wet themselves, and he just avoided us. It was the strangest thing. His vehicle was also parked on the entry ramp. We had to walk to another gas station to use their restroom. Definitely avoid this station and drive one block down the road to one of the others.

Also, this gas station has the best customer service I've ever received. I stopped one night when I was having car problems, and the young man working there, Xavier, worked on it until it was fixed (keep in mind, this was around 11-11:30 and took about 45 minutes). Xavier has been the only worker I've had interaction with, and he never fails to be the highlight of my experience in the store. I've never seen a customer leave his presence without him reminding them to have a blessed night. My only recommended gas station in this area of Jackson!
